Wesley Bell, whose seat was literally bought by Israel, issued a long winded novel on why he voted to keep sending our tax dollars to Israel.
Bell is currently being sued by his constituents for physical assault at his Townhall.
The NATO-backed coup in Ukraine was on February 22, 2014. In the article below, the New York Times confirms that two days later, on February 24, the new Ukrainian intelligence chief of the government that the US had handpicked, called the CIA and MI6 to establish a partnership against Russia. Only a few days earlier, Russia had been the main security partner of Ukraine - after the coup, it would become NATO's frontline state against Russia.
The CIA operation against Russia developed from 2014-2022:
- "12 newly-built, forward operating bases constructed along the Russian border. From each base, General Kondratiuk said, the Ukrainian officers ran networks of agents who gathered intelligence inside Russia. C.I.A. officers installed equipment at the bases to help gather intelligence and also identified some of the most skilled Ukrainian graduates of the Operation Goldfish program, working with them to approach potential Russian sources."
- "The listening post in the Ukrainian forest is part of a C.I.A.-supported network of spy bases constructed in the past eight years that includes 12 secret locations along the Russian border... Around 2016, the C.I.A. began training an elite Ukrainian commando force — known as Unit 2245 — which captured Russian drones and communications gear so that C.I.A. technicians could reverse-engineer them and crack Moscow’s encryption systems.
The CIA/MI6 presence in Ukraine became a key motivation for the Russian invasion:
- "Toward the end of 2021, according to a senior European official, Mr. Putin was weighing whether to launch his full-scale invasion when he met with the head of one of Russia’s main spy services, who told him that the C.I.A., together with Britain’s MI6, were controlling Ukraine and turning it into a beachhead for operations against Moscow."
*** The war in Ukraine was clearly provoked (and even started) by NATO. The amount of evidence makes this undeniable. However, the political-media establishment defends the "unprovoked invasion" narrative by dismissing and criminalising all explanations of NATO's involvement as efforts to "legitimise" the Russian invasion. Why is NATO's contribution to starting this war important? If we recognise NATO's contribution and the legitimate Russian security concerns, then it opens up an opportunity for compromise and peace. By clinging to the "unprovoked invasion" narrative, weapons are the path to peace, and NATO gets to continue its war against Russia to the last Ukrainian.

⭕️ WSJ Details Israeli Starvation, Beatings and Sexual Assault of Palestinian Prisoners
A Wall Street Journal investigation details systematic torture and deprivation inside Israeli prisons since October 7, 2023, including routine beatings, starvation, sexual assault, medical neglect and deaths from malnutrition and untreated disease.
🔹WSJ interviewed 12 Palestinians, each of whom said they were physically abused and deprived of food.
🔹Two said Israeli guards sexually assaulted them in front of other prisoners. One described being anally penetrated with an object while bound and forced to kneel: “I wished that I would die.”Another prisoner was left with seven broken ribs and an internal rectal tear after an assault at Sde Teiman.
🔹The Journal reviewed autopsies showing prisoners died with signs of assault, excessive restraints, untreated sepsis and prolonged malnutrition. One was 17.
🔹Physicians for Human Rights Israel has documented 105 Palestinian deaths in Israeli custody since October 2023.
Around 9,300 Palestinians are currently imprisoned by Israel, nearly twice the prewar number. Most are held without charge, according to Israeli rights group Hamoked. Israel has barred Red Cross visits since October 2023 despite a High Court ruling the ban illegal. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has claimed responsibility for cutting prisoners’ food and conditions to the minimum. Israeli authorities have passed down only one known conviction for prison abuse since the genocide began in 2023.
The U.S. has a moral obligation to halt all weapons sales to the Israeli government. We cannot be complicit in genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and the collective punishment of millions of civilians.
Enough is enough.
I will be a YES on the Massie Amendment today.
dua lipa really does shatter the imaginary belief that once someone attains a certain level of superstardom, they can’t talk about current events anymore because it’s “too complicated”
LEAKED AUDIO: Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth told employees that he would like to sue workers who leak, saying on a weekly meeting: "We fine and fire leakers all the time. We tend not to sue those people, but I'd like to..."
When Meta began using employee data to train AI without worker consent, over 1,800 Meta workers signed a petition asking to end the Model Capability Initiative (MCI). Bosworth claims these people “made the entire company worse.”
Because of the workers collective action and an internal data breach where private data was exposed, Meta management ended the nonconsensual MCI surveillance program.
Now the company's CTO is lashing out against workers, and appears to be equating worker organizing to leaking, even hinting at threatening workers for their protected organizing.
Solidarity is more than a word. It’s a lifestyle.
I am so grateful to have the support of more than 100 community leaders here in Maine. Together, we will defeat Susan Collins, and we will reclaim our U.S. Senate seat for everyday working people.
Dua Lipa speaks out about the Albania protests: "I find it so inspiring to see how much people really care. You know, day after day they're hitting the streets, because the government has opened up this part of a beautiful nature reserve to a high-end beachfront development. And of course, this has been a huge story internationally because the company that's invested in the project is part-owned by Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. But what I actually find concerning is the principle that the government could just change the law to remove the environmental protection without any kind of public consultation."
Israeli settlers armed with clubs, rocks and knives attacked a convoy of journalists in the occupied West Bank on Saturday. Jasper Nathaniel (@infinite_jaz), a reporter who was in one of the vehicles, explains what happened.
🏛️ The Senate on Tuesday blocked the annual defense bill from advancing, in a 50-46 party-line vote that fell well short of the 60 needed, as Democrats objected to the war on Iran and to provisions deepening U.S. military integration with Israel, IMEU Policy reported.
At issue is Section 1217, which would build a permanent framework binding the U.S. and Israeli defense industries in weapons production, AI, and autonomous systems, alongside a companion measure expanding intelligence-sharing with Israel. Six senators led by Chris Van Hollen and Bernie Sanders had urged colleagues to withhold votes until the Israel provisions could be stripped or debated.
The Quincy Institute says the measure would do more to intertwine the two militaries than the $200 billion-plus in aid Israel has received since 1948.
