We help you structure information, then present it clearly, appropriately and accurately – online and in print – to the people who matter most. But not here.
@Discoplomacy we're almost never on here any more, and a few weeks have passed... did you find someone, or find a way to do it yourself? We'd be very happy to discuss, if you're still thinking, rather than already doing - [email protected]
@NeilEvansRocks @BylineTimes Hello @NeilEvans, sorry to read about your frustration. There's no 'design choice' here as such and we can't reproduce the issue. I've attached how it looks for us in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, with cursor over and text selected. How/where does the black background arise for you?
This is a great piece by @peterjukes on why the initiative of the Bylines Network, to fill the local news hole, is vital.
The Bylines Network (supported by @BylineTimes, @yeswework & @march_change) has 7 regional publications already & millions of visits.

We have a wonderful new website! Head over to https://t.co/coRVn7soRd to check it out.
It was made by the phenomenal @yeswework team, who also work with @BylineTimes and many other top brands/organisations.
If you need any website or design work for you, get in touch with them!
Byline Times is two years old! 🥳🥳
Two years of exposing lies, cronyism and racism.
Two years of bringing you what the papers don't say.
Please help to support us, so we can do even more 🔽

@YorksBylines @A_myJ Of the two of us, one is on iPhone, one on middle-of-the-road Android, so we tend to assume (maybe wrongly) that we've seen it the way most do. We'll happily make text a fraction bigger if it would be helpful?
@schofeld@BylineTimes hello @schofeld - thank you SO much for letting us know... we really did try to make sure it was done in as respectful a way as possible, and it's lovely to get a pleasant comment about a "feature" that is really still a nag :)
Happy Christmas and all that, to you and yours x
@BylineTimes@__Ranen__@RestartProject@gael_duval [ahem, cough] it's truer now than it was this morning... there were cookies set by PayPal and Stripe, but we've just removed them from the main site (though https://t.co/2vFZmaPSsr needs functional cookies - policy page TBD!)
@DaveElias1@Byline_Media to follow up on this... last week I tried 2 ways of exporting an epub from InDesign (fixed - emulating the PDF, fluid much simpler), and also tried hand-editing a simple .iba for iBooks, and they were all very sub-par. We'll discuss other options soon, and I'll report back.
@Mapk not "normal" blocks, but (our) https://t.co/tmSoEBjZDN tells you how many instances of your reusable blocks are in use in posts / pages / CPTs and lets you access them all. I imagine it could be extended to count other block types too
So great to support local and regional new media with @BylineTimes versatile news template developed by @yeswework. You can see how versatile it is. We hope @YorksBylines will become the first of many hyperlocals and locals to use it.
Meanwhile, good news. @yeswework - the developers behind @BylineTimes - have shown the versatility of our news orientated Wordpress template with an exciting new venture @YorksBylines. Check out https://t.co/y4YCFrk2rw. Get in contact if you want to test drive your own
@dogwonder if I correctly remember the details of a really interesting conversation we had with [namedrop] @matias_ventura, he said that, no matter how hard it made admin code, it was worth it to ensure that content HTML was as standard as possible for display / export from the DB / etc
