@maheshperi Giving weightage to board marks never works. State Board exams can be manipulated much more easily - from paper leakage to exam centre management to evaluation - all can be managed by the rich & powerful. JEE Main discontinued 40% weightage after trying for a few years.

Mr. N. R. Narayana Murthy, Founder of Infosys Ltd. and Catamaran Ventures, inaugurated TechConnect 2025, an annual R&D event of IIT Bombay, on 22nd December.

TechConnect 2025 showcases IIT Bombay's R&D capabilities through exhibition, department symposia and ResCon. Mr. Murthy visited exhibits demonstrating technologies developed at IIT Bombay on various themes like manufacturing, engineering, biosciences, game design, defence and artificial intelligence.

TechConnect 2025 has 140 technology demonstrations on varied themes. There are 14 industry symposia wherein industry personnel visit different laboratories in the department to have a more indepth view of the activities and capabilities of IIT Bombay.

TechConnect fosters direct engagement with the industry, which facilitates ideation and identification of technologies for translation. The event motivates industry engagement for future R&D projects and encourages potential researchers as well as engineers to connect with IIT Bombay.

2/ If you are already in America, find way to lawfully work for next 1-2 decades without any H1B shackles ( consulting, multiple jobs, do your

Why?
With all the immigration scare, students not coming in, H1B freeze, US will face an epic shortage of talented folks ( think of it like a short squeeze in stocks) in next 3-5 years

The wages are going to explode for White collar workers esp STEM folks like how it happened in 2021 Tech hiring era

If you are able to stay put in US, and work lawfully, you will see a significant amount of wage inflation + cost of obtaining a GC < 1 year salary
