NCCC continues to paddle on through the raging waters of the current dreadful storm. We are battered and bruised, but we will never be beaten nor broken.

United in prayer, let us lift our voices to heaven as one. Together let us pray ever day until the Lord wills it for us to spread our wings again.

Our Heavenly Father, Almighty God, by Your grace You have made NCCC a channel of Your bountiful blessings to our thousands of employees, suppliers, and customers.

For the times when we had not acted in accordance with Your Will, we ask for mercy and forgiveness.

We give You our utmost thanksgiving for the many decades of amazing service which allowed us to do Your work through our work. Knowing how greatly Your Son Jesus Christ suffered for our sake, we offer up to You our own current suffering.

If You will it, NCCC will be restored and can continue to do the good work it is doing for Your greater glory. Help us, Lord, to overcome this difficulty.

This we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

When Victoria Plaza (VP) opened in 1993, I was a 3rd year student at De La Salle University taking up BS-Computer Science major in Information Technology. I remembered being told that the employees of our then 14-year old New City Commercial Center (NCCC) in Ramon Magsaysay Avenue were worried about how the opening would affect our business. Thank God, we were able to co-exist with Davao City's very first mall.

Fast forward to 2019, after much effort we were able to acquire VP. Respecting its historical value, we decided to rename the mall NCCC Mall VP.

While planning for its redevelopment, the mall's airconditioning was overhauled. With the intention to keep operating the mall, we needed a capable partner who would be interested in our dream for VP. And there were more than a few who wanted VP.

Then the pandemic happened. And everything changed. Post pandemic, everyone was picking up the pieces.

While we resumed planning for VP, we also finally completed the requirements for rebuilding NCCC Mall Davao, which we lost in 2017, renaming it NCCC Mall Ma-a.

But there was no going back to normal. As one year after another passed, it was clear we can no longer pursue our original dream for VP. So we made sure that it would still get the iconic redevelopment it deserves.

So as many Davaoeños do their sentimental goodbyes to Victoria Plaza, we lift up to God with thanksgiving and faith everything according to His perfect Will.

🚨⚖️ Sovereignty & Justice In the Dock at the ICC!
The International Criminal Court @IntlCrimCourt (ICC) is a globalist threat to national sovereignty and true justice. I recall sitting in a National Party briefing by then Foreign Minister @AlexanderDowner on Australia joining the ICC back in 2002. I was an adviser to then Dawson MP De-Anne Kelly. Downer told us that we needed to be in the ICC to steer it the right way or “the pinkoes” (Australian slang for leftists) in the UN would capture it and politicise it.
(It was stunning for a young political staffer to hear the Foreign Minister of the nation acknowledge the UN was a hive of Marxists).
With the recent arrest warrants and actions—including the arrest of Rodrigo Duterte @RRD_Davao—at the behest of the ICC it’s obvious that it has been captured by the globalist Left.
Even when the Philippines is no longer a signatory to the ICC and thus not under their jurisdiction, they are still going to try Duterte for enacting a tough on drugs policy that the people of the Philippines voted for and still support. They have no proof that Duterte engaged in or ordered extra-judicial killings. Why? Because there is no proof. It didn’t happen. Instead, rogue police and vigilantes took matters into their own hands which just goes to show how fed up they were at the scourge of met-amphetamine dealers in their country.
Every politician in Australia and around the world who decides to enact a policy that is unpopular with the global elite—on refugees, immigration, drugs, or anything else—should be very concerned that they don’t end up in The Hague.
And if they can do it to former Heads of State then the men and women of the Armed Forces should also be concerned that they don’t end up in the dock as well just for conducting duties in foreign hellholes that they were ordered to by their country.
Australia should withdraw from the ICC immediately. So should every other nation that cherishes national sovereignty and true justice.
