@TrueBlueBYU1984 A sign of lack of intelligence is resorting to name calling. Just state your case without getting so angry. One thing that was impressive about BYU in the holiday bowl was they dominated the offensive side of the ball.
@TrueBlueBYU1984@BYUfootball Nothing against BYU. They did everything they could. Your claims are very one sided though. Was the best team BYU? Who really knows. Did they deserve it? I don’t know.
@TrueBlueBYU1984@BYUfootball Corrections: the holiday bowl never invited UW. Yes, UW wanted the Orange for more money and being a major. They didn’t refuse the Holiday. Then to prove your point that BYU was better in 84 because BYU handled the 85 UW team is silly. UW’s team was completely different.
@DallinwBYU I think the church should give BYU latitude to say we want to dominate college sports because we want to win instead of being a missionary tool. Then, if by chance it helps with missionary work, great. Be ND. They aren’t trying to be a missionary tool for the Catholic Church.
@BYUProvo BYU CE is a BYU div, not an independent org. If it runs a shortfall, BYU absorbs it. Since BYU is heavily subsidized by Church tithing, the football patch is viewed as indirectly, and sometimes directly, supported by a tithing-funded institution. Not a good laugh bro Brigham.
@jojocarroll86 Unfortunately there are bad apples in every fan base. It’s sad when fans take advantage of a serious and deeply personal situation and use it to try to put down another fanbase. Really dumb and shallow.
@BYUCougars@BYU_CE@byusoccer_w@BYUwvolleyball@BYUmvolleyball As a member of the church and with a couple of kids who attended BYU, this is really embarrassing. Go ahead and defend this all you want cougar nation (and you will like it’s a part of the gospel) but it is embarrassing.
@BYUProvo@Nu_Ny0 Damn you’re good at baiting. Your family and friends should be so proud of you. It’s something to really feel good about. Great job BYU Provo.
