Today is Teacher’s day in Korea. Gifts from my students:
1. Flowers
2. Letters
3. A pokemon called “Eevee” (we do Extracellular Vesicle research)
I foresee receiving Electric Vehicle next time :)
Finished attending #ISEV2025 at Vienna! It was a truly joyful to learn exciting new research tackling the mystery of extracellular vesicles from diverse disciplines. Also seeing my students stimulated from the excellent educational programs was very much rewarding. I could also meet old and new friends there, and will never forget the networking dinner at the beautiful #palaceLiechtenstein
Already looking forward to attend #ISEV2026 at Puerto Rico :)
As a co-first author of the paper, I am very happy to see the publication of the eFLASH technique in Nature Biotechnology(https://t.co/32f10ZsOs5)! Almost 8 years of work have finally come to fruition.
eFLASH is a 3D immunolabeling technique that is rapid (1-2d for whole mouse brain), cost-effective (<1/10 vial of antibody is needed for immunolabeling a mouse whole brain), and versatile (applicable to various antibodies and tissues in theory as well as in reality).
This paper became possible through a great team effort. I learned a lot from working with Dae Hee Yun. I deeply appreciate Kwanghun Chung for his dedicated guidance to us!
We are excited to host THE #ClotildeThery & @Neri_lab at 8th annual symposium of Slovenian network of #extracellularvesicles (https://t.co/e8HOrk37tO) , at @ULMF_pr in Ljubljana😃 Big thank you to @unilj@SBD_novice#LKB & #Omega for support; Marija & Katja for their hard work🙏
The Guidelines for minimal information on cellular senescence experimentation #MICSE are now available @CellCellPress: "...an overview of senescence markers in rodent tissues, transgenic models, non-mammalian systems, human tissues, and tumors and their use in the identification and specification of senescent cells."
Thanks to the leadership of Mikolaj Ogrodnik, Johannes Grillari, Marco Demaria @marc_dema@LBG_SHoW and arising in part from a productive Wiggers-Bernard conference https://t.co/3FKu12DE7X
An incredible time at @OptoGRC conference, filled with insightful discussions, innovative ideas and dynamic networking. Proud to be part of such a talented and forward-thinking community. #OptoGRC2024
Very happy our cautionary tale of GECI expression in the hippocampus is out in @eLife.

We describe Ca2+ waves though the hippocampus. Mesmerising but artefact of GECI expression.

Excited to visit Hong Kong for Inter-Univ Postgraduate Symposium, which happens this Saturday as a Plenary Speaker!
Happy that I am chosen by students of the University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology :)
