@UPS Please be aware of this account impersonating UPS support: @SupportUpsSer (Live Support Service).
They contacted me regarding my real UPS shipment, then directed me to [email protected] and sent a suspicious https://t.co/orbcjffq5Q link.
@UPS Iโm done using UPS for important international shipments. The package delay was bad enough, but the lack of a clear support channel was worseโand it created the perfect opening for a scammer posing as UPS support. I no longer trust UPS with important documents.
@UPS Because legitimate support was so difficult to reach, a scammer posing as UPS support was able to contact me and obtain my email address and phone number. This is exactly why a clear, verifiable support channel matters.
@UPS This is exactly what happens when legitimate customer support is so difficult to reach and so unclear that customers cannot easily distinguish real help from fake help.
UPS still has not provided me with a meaningful response.
@UPS So apparently the โsupportโ response I received was not from UPS at all, but a scam attempt using a suspicious non-UPS link.
When legitimate customer support is so difficult to reach and so unclear that customers cannot easily distinguish real help from fake help.
@UPS When customer support is this difficult to reach and this unclear, scammers thrive in the confusion.
I was approached by someone claiming to help with my UPS issue and was sent a suspicious non-UPS link.
Poor support doesnโt just frustrate customers โ it opening for scams.
@UPS My international document shipment has been held in Louisville since Sep 4. UPS called, accepted my explanation, and said โOK.โ On Sep 8 I spent an hour calling; UPS then confirmed my document was uploaded. Still not released. Who can take ownership? DM me.
@UPS Why should I have to explain everything again by phone? I have already provided the details by email and message, and the tracking record should show the history of this case.
At this point, it is UPSโs turn to explain what happened and how this will be resolved. By Email.
@SandraAnderaad They don't even read that.
It's their AUTO-reply
---
Dear UPS Customer,
Emails sent to [email protected] or [email protected] are not monitored, but we still want to hear from you!
@ups Asking me again to โexplain what I wantโ after all of the information already provided is exactly the kind of customer-service failure I am complaining about.
@SandraAnderaad They don't even read that. It's their AUTO-reply --- Dear UPS Customer, Emails sent to [email protected] or [email protected] are not monitored, but we still want to hear from you!
