🔴 If the world were to descend into a major war, would it be better to hold cash or to invest? Warren Buffett argues that in times of war, cash loses its value. Should a global conflict actually break out, the value of cash would very likely decline—a pattern seen in most wars throughout history. In such a scenario, holding cash is the worst possible move. He further adds that over the next 50 years, owning productive assets—such as companies and businesses—is far superior to holding paper currency, which is destined to continuously lose its value.

If you are under 50, you might want to consider Warren Buffett’s principles for stock investing:
1.Down 10% → Hold.

2.Down 20% → Consider adding 10%.

3.Down 30% → Consider adding 20%.

4.Down 40% → Consider adding 30%.

5.Down 50% → Only buy more if the fundamentals remain strong.

When stocks rise:
6. Up 10% → Hold.
7. Up 20% → Still hold.
8. Up 30% → Consider taking 10% profit.
9. Up 40% → Consider taking 20% profit.
10. Up 50% → Consider taking 30% profit.
11. Up 60% → Reassess your position.
12. Up 100% → Rebalance based on valuation.
The golden rule:
Never buy just because a stock is down.
Never sell just because a stock is up.

🚨 THE AI TRADE GOES BEYOND NVIDIA.

$CDNS reports earnings after today's market close.

Wall Street is looking for roughly:

📊 Adjusted EPS: $2.05
💰 Revenue: $1.62B
Why it matters:

As AI chips become more complex, semiconductor companies need advanced tools to design and verify them.

That's where Cadence comes in.

I'm watching 3 things tonight:

1️⃣ Revenue growth
2️⃣ Forward guidance
3️⃣ Demand from AI and advanced chip customers

Can the picks-and-shovels of AI keep delivering?

Earnings Week Preview — What Actually Matters for $MSFT , $GOOGL , $AMZN

1/ Earnings week is here. $MSFT and $GOOGL report Wednesday after close. $AMZN on Thursday.

Most people will focus on whether they beat. I’ll focus on three things that actually move the long-term thesis.

Thread 🧵

2/ For $MSFT:
- Azure growth rate (especially AI contribution)
- Capex trajectory and whether it’s still accelerating
- Operating margin direction given the AI investments

Consensus EPS is $4.71. The beat/miss is less important than the commentary on AI monetization.

3/ For $GOOGL:
- Google Cloud growth and profitability
- Search advertising resilience
- Capex and whether they’re still spending aggressively on infrastructure

Alphabet has more optionality than most people give it credit for, but the multiple is sensitive to any slowdown in cloud or ad growth.

4/ For $AMZN:
- AWS growth rate
- Advertising revenue momentum
- Margin expansion in retail + AWS combined

Amazon’s story is no longer just retail. The market is pricing in sustained high-margin growth from AWS and ads.

5/ Common risk across all three:
AI spending is massive. The market is starting to ask whether the returns are coming fast enough.

If any of them guide to higher capex with slower revenue acceleration, expect multiple compression.

6/ My framework for reading the reports:
- Revenue quality (recurring vs one-time)
- Free cash flow conversion
- Incremental ROIC on new investments
- Management tone on AI ROI timeline

Not financial advice. This is just how I’m framing the data.

🚨 $VZ JUST DELIVERED A MIXED EARNINGS REPORT.

Here’s what investors need to know:

📈 Adjusted EPS: $1.31 vs. $1.27 expected
📉 Revenue: $34.3B vs. $34.8B expected
📱 Postpaid phone additions: 406K vs. 195K expected
🔼 Full-year subscriber growth outlook raised
My take: Revenue missed, but customer growth was the standout.
The key question now: Can Verizon turn stronger subscriber momentum into sustainable revenue and cash flow growth?
Would you buy $VZ for its cash flow and dividend — or look elsewhere for growth?

@WatcherGuru Bullish headline, but don't confuse a small ETF holding with a conviction bet. The real question is whether more institutional capital follows.

$ASTS JUST GOT A BIGGER EUROPEAN OPPORTUNITY. BUT THERE'S A CATCH.

Four major European telecom operators — Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefónica & Vodafone — are exploring a joint bid for satellite spectrum alongside AST SpaceMobile.

Here's why it matters:

📡 60+ mobile operator partners
🌍 3B+ subscribers represented
🇪🇺 Potential access to a European market covering 500M+ mobile subscribers
🛰️ Initial intermittent service targeted before year-end 2026
But there's a serious challenge: SpaceX isn't standing still.
ASTS must turn partnerships into satellites in orbit, reliable coverage, and recurring revenue.
My take: The opportunity is massive, but execution will determine the winner.

Is $ASTS an asymmetric opportunity — or is the market underestimating the competition? 👇
