The next couple of days will define the future of this nation. This deeper understanding is why I resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to join the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as I follow the leadership of, HE Peter Obi, who today embodies the hope and aspiration of a Nigeria that works.
When I give my word, I keep it. My decision to support HE Peter Obi first led me to the ADC. To continue to honour the promise I am joining the NDC.
This time I am joining the NDC not just as a member but as one running for the FCT Senatorial seat.
I have tidied up all my obligations to the ADC, ensuring a clean transition. I was fortunate to work with great and amazing people whose goal was a better country. I am grateful for the opportunity to have served as sub‑committee chair, deputy committee chair, and secretary at various levels.
The experience has been invaluable, and I thank everyone for their support and cooperation.

Atiku Abubakar will never smell that seat.
It’s either Peter Obi or Tinubu till 2027.
I won’t join your team in your politics of grabbing power. I’m not that stupid!
Power must remain in the South.
I could live without Obi Presidency.
The question to Atikulates is, CAN YOU?
I am Ijaw before Nigeria. A Southerner from Rivers state. I’m not that stupid, & I don’t need your money or whatever perks power can buy. You can keep them all; keep everything. At this point? I no longer care who gets it. But power MUST remain in the South for eight solid years.
I have listened to Tompolo speak to his people on his 54th birthday celebration, I heard what I’d long expected from a leader of his caliber.
A thread on Ijaw identity, political loyalty, and truth-speaking leadership 🧵
@Lord_Of_Warri@tvcnewsng@inecnigeria Just know at the back of your mind that, this’s not the days of old, were you people will slave your ways to have Favour in subsequent government so to undermine the real majority is thees areas. The war that you guys are calling will be clear to you when the time comes.
@Lord_Of_Warri@tvcnewsng@inecnigeria You guys are cowards who only knows how to fight first without thinking about the implications of what you are putting yourself too. Just be claiming Yoruba from now till eternity, but the right thing will be done. We all knew, You guys are only claiming numbers you don’t have.
What stops us from having this kind of festival in Ijaw land?
We can use it to celebrate events like the Ijaw National Day where all the clans will showcase what they have got. More like a parade 🥺
It will be rotated among the 3 zones every year or 2.
It will foster unity...

Rubbish, is it every Igbo man that supported PO in the last Election, and the obvious answer is no. It was even your top Igbo men that were even against their own. Majority of the Ijaws supported PO and he won LGAs where PDP as Been winning since 1999. We Dey keenly Observe Ona.
Ijaw has never learnt their lesson. And I don't think Ogoni has either.
During the Biafra War, Ken Saro Wiwa sided with the Nigerian government against Ojukwu and the newborn Biafra. He was dining with Sani Abacha and Gowon. He was dishing poems against the victims. He hated ndị Igbo.
Immediately Port Harcourt fell into the hands of the Nigerian government; Wiwa selected Ojukwus property in Port Harcourt as his own. The selection of the Ojukwu property was loud. It was symbolic. That marked the introduction of the abandoned property.
Wiwa will later be arrested by Abacha and framed for murder. His only sin was standing for his people and insisting his people must gain from the resources God gave them. Instead of them gaining the government polluted their land with oil spillage, rendering their lands impotent for agriculture. Kị́lling fishes in the ocean. He was tried and kị́lled by those he joined to kị̀ll more than 3.5 million Igbo people.
In 2023, Asari Dokubo joined hands to stand against Peter Obi. With the help of Asari, Wike was able to rig Rivers State in favour of Tinubu. They did not mind what the Igbo put themselves into when they stood with Goodluck Jonathan. The Igbo were hated because they supported Goodluck Jonathan, but when the time to support an Igbo man came, they embraced Yoruba. Did Asari stop there? No, he took a contract from Tinubu to bring his militias to Imo State and Anambra to kị̀ll our people. And Asari bragged about it. He was eating at the same table with Wike, and they were sweethearts.
Today, Wike has addressed the Ijaw people as a minority in Rivers State. He opined that they can't win an election without being supported by Ị́gbo majority voters in Rivers State. To crown it all, Wike has shown them power by using his federal connections to bring a state of emergency to the state. This state of emergency means that the governor is no more in charge. Tinubu stands with Wike and not with Asari. Rivers State is crucial to APC come 2027. They need to control it so that it can be rigged. Just as they controlled Imo State as to rig it. This control they can't get under Governor Fubara. That's why he must go. The worst is that they have reached the level that he can't be trusted. So there won't be room for negotiations. They want him out.
Can Asari replicate what he did in Imo in Rivers State? The answer is no. Asari is not strong. What Asari did in Imo, the kị́llings, and the brandishing of boys with sophisticated guns were all done with the power of the Federal. If Asari does anyhow, he will see anyhow. Asari is already committed. You can't commit and remain the same. If the going gets tough, Asari will even disappoint Fubara.
The Ijaw as a people has never reciprocated the love Igbo people had always shown to them. Rather they are indoctrinated to think Ịgbo people are after the natural resources they have.
Guys wake up.
The Igbo don't need anyone to be great more than others need them. This is not boasting. This is reality. The Igbo in South East are rich both in Human resources and natural resources. Imo has oil and they are the highest deposit of gas. Abia and Anambra has oil. Enugu is rich in coal, while Ebonyi is rich in Agriculture and stones. In your so-called South South, Igbo people are the majority there. They are also rich in human resources and oil. This you must know.
The problem between Fubara and Wike has nothing to do with the Igbo people. Wike is a Bini man. So it is the Bini people who want to remove Fubara, an Ijaw man, from power. And I tell you for free that no Igbo man is in support of it.
Thank you.

@chymaker Very first time another part wins a National Election in my LGA, is Labour Party, and we did all that without vote buying. It really provoking if you guys continue to insult a full tribe because of Asari.
