Repetition isn’t always insanity.

Sometimes repetition is training.
Sometimes repetition is discipline.
Sometimes repetition is mastery.

Mr. Miyagi had Daniel doing the same movements over and over again: Wax on, Wax off.

To Daniel, it looked like he was doing the same pointless thing every day.

But he wasn’t actually staying the same.

He was getting stronger.
He was developing muscle memory.
He was building discipline.
He was becoming capable of something he couldn’t do before.

That’s the difference.

Repetition without reflection can become a rut.
But repetition with purpose can become growth.

Doing the same thing repeatedly without learning, adapting, or growing can keep you stuck.

But doing something repeatedly with purpose, consistency, and improvement can turn an ordinary action into mastery.

Sometimes, you don’t need a new strategy.

Sometimes, you need to keep practicing the right one.

Because every repetition is not supposed to produce a different result immediately.

Some repetitions are producing a different you.

So before you conclude that repetition isn’t working, ask yourself:

Am I repeating the same thing or am I becoming a different person through the repetition?

Sometimes the result isn’t different because the process changed.

The result is different because YOU changed🥋
