I Have Proof Mahmood Yakubu Worked for My Opposition — Peter Obi
In 2023 we took things for granted. We believed INEC. We believed what they said they would do. The INEC Chairman convinced the world that he would do the right thing, when in fact he was working for the opposition.
This time, we will only trust them by doing the right thing ourselves.
Peter Obi,
NDC Presidential Candidate
After My Visits to Benue and Plateau.
After returning to Abuja on 8th September 2026, following our visits to Benue and Plateau States, I travelled to Europe, first to Germany and then to the United Kingdom. There, I participated in a series of high-level meetings addressing issues of fundamental importance to Nigeria’s future.
Our conversations addressed democracy and electoral integrity, the escalating challenge of poverty, education, corruption, healthcare, and, above all, practical ways to improve the lives and preserve the dignity of our people.
I was especially encouraged by the sincere readiness of our international partners to support Nigeria, particularly in the critically important area of education. I have consistently emphasised that education is the most valuable investment we can make in our people, because no nation can create a prosperous and sustainable future without developing the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of its citizens.
We must intentionally transition Nigeria from consumption to production, from dependence to productivity, from wasteful practices to responsible resource management, and from division to a common national purpose.
Together, we can create a Nigeria in which every child receives a quality education, democracy genuinely embodies the people’s will, healthcare is within reach, public resources are administered responsibly, and every Nigerian enjoys a fair chance to lead a dignified and productive life.

"Peter Obi did not inform me before coming to Benue "
Hence you blocked him.
Does it mean Fulani killérs inform you before coming to Benue and that's why you don't block them?
🇮🇱🇬🇧 ISRAEL HITS BACK AT BRITAIN.
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, with PM Netanyahu’s approval, has announced a package of countermeasures against the UK following the Labour government’s latest sanctions on Israel.
Israel will:
• CLOSE the British Consulate in Jerusalem.
• REMOVE British representatives from the International Gaza Support Center in Kiryat Gat.
• END Britain’s training of Palestinian Authority forces in Judea and Samaria.
• BAR 12 British elected officials and other British nationals accused of antisemitic, anti-Israel activity or denying Israel’s right to exist.
Sa’ar’s message was unmistakable:
“Whoever acts against Israel, Israel will act against them.”
He accused the Labour government of systematically targeting Israel through sanctions, arms restrictions, recognition of a Palestinian state, renewed UNRWA funding, sanctions on Israeli ministers and other measures.
And he made clear this may not end with Britain:
“Britain initiated and led the current move. But we will also take countermeasures… against other countries that act or will act against Israel.”
The era of Israel absorbing diplomatic punishment without responding appears to be over.
Measures against Israel will not go unanswered.
Power is not served a la carte. To usher in the New Nigeria, you must first grab power.
Your gentleman politics should end now. You have the power to make them tremble & pee in their pants; use it! The road ahead is rough.
THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO ENTERTAIN FEAR!
The events of today have shown that removing Tinubu from power solves our problems 70%.
We have seen what happened in Benue State today. How a so-called Rev. Fr. (the governor) used his thugs to stop Peter Obi from entry.
It’s good that this is happening now so everyone will know what we’re up against.
The APC are afraid of what Obi represents; an egalitarian society, where equality, equity, & justice rule. A Nigeria where the children of nobodies will become somebodies without knowing anybody. They are scared of that!
Hunger, lack of food, is a means of control. The APC understands the power of chains, they want you in it & in check, hungry & beggarly; on your knees defeated. They want you to constantly depend on handouts.
They are scared of the man who came third.
Peter Obi is the reason Nigeria is relatively peaceful today. He has the capacity to shut down the country, but he won’t do that. His love for you trumps his ambition. He doesn’t want any harm to come your way. It is obvious the APC are the sponsors of the terrorism going on. They pull all the levers of power.
It is so because that is the power you gave to them. Their authority is what you say it is.
They fear unity, they will challenge any attempt to unite Nigerians. What Peter Obi represents is dangerous, it has the capacity to end impunity & criminality for good. They see in him, the capacity to galvanize Nigerians toward nation-building. One nation, under God, moving with a shared purpose. The APC cannot have that!
They would rather see the country burn to rule over its ashes. One candidate is Awol, hidden away in an undisclosed location, no one knows where he is. Meanwhile, Nigeria's official presidential jet is parked somewhere in Europe, accumulating debt on your behalf. In contrast, another candidate is traveling across Nigeria, doing his best to help citizens get started.
Yet, despite his efforts, he faces constant attacks from the government in power.
The government is truly unwise. The more you persecute Peter, the more Nigerians will rally to his cause. History is replete with examples.
In a place where anarchy rules, the innocent is the one receiving the most abuse. In a place where peace reigns, only the guilty is afraid.
They fear the candidate who supposedly came third, & now something has to give. We must activate every directorate of the OK Movement.
People must organize a welcoming party on the ground in every state, ready to welcome Peter Obi & mobilize for his protection. We have many powers we haven't even used. Fear is the enemy; they rule through fear. When people fear you, they will come to respect you.
This is not the time to cower; our mothers gave birth to no cowards. Once we lose our sense of fear, we are free. My People, there is a battle ahead. Ready yourselves, BE PREPARED! 💪

Peter Obi Does Not Need to Consult With Anybody Before Visiting Any Part of the Country - Tietie
The governor of Benue and his aides must be under the illusion that there is a requirement that a Nigerian citizen should get clearance from a governor. No matter how prominent he is, the constitution guarantees freedom of movement for every citizen.

Benue: No state is a No-go Area for Any Person
Amnesty International deeply is concerned by the reckless and unlawful use of political thugs that blocked the presidential candidate of opposition NDC Peter Obi from entering Benue state. Benue state government has questions to answer for this brazen act of political repression. No Nigerian needs anybody’s permission or prior notification to visit any part of the country — at all times. No state is a no-go area for any person or supporters of any political party.
What happened today in Benue state is an unprecedented and dangerous act of political hooliganism that undermines the entire democratic process. Heavily armed youth unlawfully barricaded Gboko Road in Makurdi, the state capital in what appears to be a coordinated plan that puts the entourage of opposition NDC at risk. Harassment of rival candidates by state-endorsed armed vigilante groups or thugs is unlawful.
Alarming intolerance, incitements and other efforts to undermine democracy must be decisively addressed now. Since last year, Amnesty International has been documenting shocking level of political repression, including preventing hotels from hosting political meetings organized by the opposition, direct attacks on political activities of rival parties and other acts that undermine the existence of level playing field politically.
We are seriously concerned that the Nigerian Government is doing very little to prevent political repression and violence. Some states have been implementing unpronounced policy of using all means of shutting out any political opposition. We are also concerned by the failure of the relevant authorities to investigate and bring to justice the suspected perpetrators of such acts.
Political parties and candidates must make anti-violence and thuggery stance a clear and integral part of their elections campaign.
How Hired Thugs Obstructed My Visit to Benue State
Yesterday, I attended the opening of the national campaign office of an opposition presidential candidate, Governor Seyi Makinde in Abuja. My presence was intended to demonstrate that politics can and should be conducted in an atmosphere of mutual respect and civility. As Governor of Anambra State, I made it a point during electioneering to welcome visiting opposition members personally, provided they acted within the ambits of the law.
Guided by that same commitment to decency over partisanship, I travelled to Benue this morning, arriving at approximately 9:00 a.m. on a purely humanitarian mission: to visit the grieving families affected by the horrific killings in Yelwata, where over 270 people were massacred.
Regrettably, our convoy was prevented from proceeding to the community by thugs chanting, “Peter Obi, go back.” It was deeply distressing to witness such hostility. I came to Benue not for partisan politics, but to mourn with our people, to listen to families who have lost loved ones, and to offer comfort at a moment of unimaginable sorrow. That a mission intended purely to show solidarity, compassion, and support could be obstructed in this manner is deeply alarming.
At a time when our nation should be united in grief and resolute in preventing further bloodshed, we must reject any action capable of deepening our divisions. The people of Benue - and all Nigerians - deserve to sleep without fear. They deserve to travel without fear. They deserve to cultivate their land without fear. Above all, they deserve a country where the state places the protection of human life far above political expediency.
Although we were unable to reach the community today, our thoughts and prayers remain steadfastly with the victims, their families, and the entire Yelwata community. We shall continue to work until the primary responsibility of government - the safeguarding of every Nigerian life - is restored. Until then, we cannot truly say we have built the nation our people deserve.

“I think Nigerian politicians are the luckiest set of b@stards on the planet…
Imagine being a politician in a country full of very very d@ft people. We have 200-300million people and most of them don’t have sense.
Thats the reason a politician can commission a borehole. A serving senator is being accused of band!try,,,,Nigerians are not talking about it….”
