Congratulations to YiRang @yirangs2 on receiving the prestigious @BeckmanInst Graduate Research Assistantship!! Also many thanks to @LlanoLaboratory for the wholehearted support of YiRang's projects!
Congrats to YiRang @yirangs2 on her article being selected as the 50 best papers recently published in the "Biotechnology and Methods" area of @NatureComms!

Extremely humbled and honored to receive the IEEE Ultrasonics Early Career Investigator award @ieeeius. Nothing beats the feeling of receiving this recognition from my home society where I grew up academically and being introduced by my dear friend and colleague @Oelze_Url.
Is #ULM on awake mice possible? We think so! Check out our new work led by @YikeWang003: we demonstrate awake and longitudinal ULM imaging of 🐭🧠. You can see the impact of anesthetics on cerebral blood flow -- something you can only visualize with ULM!

I'm very proud of YiRang @yirangs2 who developed LOCA-ULM, which is the first context-aware DL-based ULM method. Our team's conventional method won the super-resolution challenge last year, but now LOCA-ULM has taken the lead.

Check out our new paper led by @Zhijie_D where we present a new version of the FASTER probe clip-on device that enables high volume-rate, multimodal 3D ultrasound imaging with regular 1D ultrasound probes (B-mode, Doppler, and super-resolution imaging).

Huge congratulations to @MRLowerison and @yirangs2 who worked so hard to help the @SongLabUIUC clinch the winner award for the super-resolution imaging challenge (in vivo) at @ieeeius 2022!
Check out our super-resolution ultrasound brain imaging preprint on mice with Alzheimer's disease. We found that the early stage of the disease presented with decreased blood flow velocity in vulnerable brain regions. @LlanoLaboratory @BeckmanInst
Inspired by #fULM from @TanterM, we also generated videos of microbubbles moving inside a mouse brain. This is indeed a very cool way of presenting #ULM data and showing what blood flow looks like in brain tissue!
What a nice way to finish a busy semester and welcoming YiRang Shin @yirangs2 to join our lab as a new PhD student! Looking forward to a fun and productive summer with this amazing group of people!
