A8: I am intentional with knowing the curriculum and organization. I want to be more intentional with building relationships with colleagues.

A7: I agree 100% with @TraciAnnon . Being transparent with all stakeholders will lead to huge teachable moments that can show all stakeholders (especially our students) that they ALL MATTER!

A6: Spread kindness and positivity always. I try to remember that not everything on social media is true, so I don't take it to heart and keep smiling.

A5: To be effective, you must spread positivity even when it is hard to. Students respond to positivity no matter the outcome. Be the role model for our students by filtering positivity throughout.

A4: Specific praise is easiest because most of the time it's in the moment. Which leads to my challenging characteristic of being private. Time escapes us so quickly. You're packing up and ending the day before you realize you didn't get the private praise in.

A3: There's a fine line between the two. The only difference is that venting is hoping that there could be some solution or advice to the conversation. Complaining is just pointing the finger without little accountability nor willingness to change.

A2: Change is inevitable, especially within education. Embracing change, learning and growing together to adapt to the change will positively impact all stakeholders.

A3: Engaging students in to your classroom community CONSISTENTLY will build relationships throughout. You are the model in which you want the students to be.

A1: Yahaira White from Beachside Elementary!
@Jmdolich I couldn't agree with you more! Playing and watching my not-so-newborn grow has been awesome this summer!

A6: Communicating, consistency, positivity and being willing to share ideas will help achieve everyone's common goal of success for all students.

A3: Children need to trust you! Building a trusting environment with support, care and love will help tremendously. Accountability and boundaries is equally important for children to learn.
#VCSHappyKids
A2: Building a positive environment and relationships with all students. Also being consistent with positive/negative consequences and holding the students accountable through collaborative discussions.
#VCSHappyKids
A8: Share ideas, allow new teachers to come into your room for ideas and how you implement classroom management strategies. Collective efficacy is key for success. The "my classroom, my kids" mentality is not going to work. It should be "our school, our students"
#VCSHappyKids
A6: There needs to be consistency with communication from the district (in a timely manner). We need a shared purpose with trainings, consistency and feedback for all stakeholders.
