@Mike_McD5511 I specifically ever ate school lunch after like 6th grade because it was so awful. I would rather wait until I got home than eat the slop we had and I graduated before Obama was even in the senate.
@CheapThrillerz@HollyCabot Um… that’s how it is now and hat’s how it was when I was in high school 20+ years ago. The bus picks kids up before dawn and the sun rises when they’re already in class. I literally drive to and from my kids school and the sun still hasn’t risen.
@StephenFleming I never had a learners permit. I got my license when I turned 18 cause getting driven to/from college was a hassle for my parents. And back then there was no such thing as Uber and I’m not sure if MySpace or Facebook had launched yet.
You may have noticed that the word for ‘night’ in many languages appears to be that language’s word for ‘eight’ with an ‘N' in front of it.
English: N + eight = Night
German: N + acht = Nacht
French: N + huit = Nuit
Spanish: N + ocho = Noche
Italian: N + otto = Notte
Portuguese: N + oito = Noite

@pompompokopokox@Vxujianing You don’t need to remove a simple shirt to do CPR. Unless they have an AED to attach or there’s something that’s physically impeding compressions, it’s unnecessary.
@AmericaPapaBear Lots of schools do this. It’s because the dismissal prep is occurring. Bus kids are going to one location, car kids are going to another, and walkers are going somewhere else or staying in their class. It makes it easier to track the kids are leaving the way parents intended.
