@LilywhiteLab While I LOVE James Maddison and don’t disagree with anything what you are saying, we just don’t know how he’ll look once he’s needing to play week in week out. He also was highly injury prone before this acl injury so who knows how he’ll deal with that. It’s just a lot of unknown
@NathanAClark In my opinion, the narrative was set that he was “disrespecting the club” by fairly publicly pushing hard to leave. But he just wants to play lol it has nothing to do with spurs specifically
@pokeefe1@J_GRANT1109@michaeltech100 He’s just too good to be selling that low. I understand it’s hard to keep 4 CBs happy one game a week but he’s just too good. And he’s on our books. I’d keep him and figure it out
@Kish_P14 I mean How many goals has he scored from going up. He says “my attack can’t do it ok I’ll do it myself” and it actually works a lot. If you calculate the ratio of him being in opposition box to scoring, he probably out does any striker. I love when he takes responsibility
@JimOhSoSpurs Cristian Romero. All this nonsense around him is overblown. At his best he is the best center back in the world and he plays for our club. We want to get rid because he called out our useless owners?? It’s ridiculous to me. Keep him he’s brilliant
@AlasdairGold Spurs fans found that a familiar sight. What a player. I seriously do not want to lose him I don’t care if we paid 100 million for van hecke
@hbrooks_coach I’m surprised at how seemingly okay spurs fans are with him leaving. You see all these potential lineup graphics with van hecke in there and it’s feels dismissive to Romero. Like we literally have a top 5 CB in the world and we are acting like he’s second hand trash
