I think @monotanus and @owlofthematrix were on to some things that I did not appreciate at the time. All the weirdness with the LEI/ISIN mappings keeps pointing back to stuff they were digging on with low-key corporate action activity & identifiers.

I don't understand why this isn't translating to SEC filings, dockets, etc. But maybe that gets into what @Q2024694202 was saying about it already having been done, not to waste time on the dockets, etc. Maybe whatever is happening is not US-domiciled or reporting simply isn't legally covered (yet?).

GLEIF seems to have some ability to interact with the NNA for these things, so I'm gonna see if I can press them to "correct" the two bonds for the old entity:

@BrianGervais12 I called IBKR and they said I need to create a ticket. The lady I spoke to said a guarantor being present usually means some entity is backing the whole value of the bonds plus interest! She also confirmed the name change came directly from the bond issuer, which is still BBBY...
