Have you ever wondered what you could do if tracking animal movement during your neuroscience experiment would not require training a machine vision model? If you could just straightforwardly get the trajectories of any mouse moving freely in 3D?
What we found is that not only are all endocannabinoid pathways suppressing locomotion (as you'd think..), but also whatever effects we see depend on the kind of locomotion at paw - horizontal or vertical!

In 1977, Victoria Chan-Palay published a beautiful book on the cerebellar nuclei (https://t.co/giG1BD8QoM) . When I was starting my postdoctoral life, I was captivated and inspired by her insightful and illustrations.
Personally the significance of this work is much higher than might be superficially obvious, but I do hope that our work and illustrations will serve many new researchers as Chan Palay's book did. #StandOnShoulders
