Gram Swaraj attains a new meaning when about 100 adolescent girls and women in 5 villages of Durg district in Chattisgarh have learnt to prepare cotton sanitary pads to protect environment and become self reliant. They plan to upscale production and sell through digital market.
Confident 20 tribal trained women of Gadadeeh and nearby villages in Patan block,Durg district CG are working as construction sector skilled workers,facilitated by Samarthan.They are improving water and sanitation for 51 girls and 42 boys studying in Government middle school.
