 शिव को आमतौर पर नीले रंग के चेहरे और गले के साथ दिखाया जाता है. हालांकि, तकनीकी रूप से उनका शरीर सफ़ेद होता है. 

शिव के अतिरिक्त नेत्र, उनके ज्ञान और अंतर्दृष्टि का प्रतीक है. यह उनके असीमित ऊर्जा का स्रोत भी माना जाता है.

सर, आप हमेशा सही और अच्छी न्यूज़ को सामने लाते हैं और आपकी बात का काफी प्रभाव होता है। इसी विश्वास के साथ मैं आपसे एक महत्वपूर्ण विषय पर ध्यान देने का अनुरोध करना चाहती हूँ।

सर, दिल्ली में BLOs की जो दुर्दशा हो रही है, उसके बारे में शायद ही कोई बात कर रहा है। 1 जनवरी से 15 जनवरी तक जब दिल्ली के सरकारी स्कूलों में शिक्षकों की छुट्टियाँ थीं, उस दौरान भी शिक्षकों को SIR के तहत घर-घर जाकर काम में लगाया गया। उस अवधि में किए गए कार्य के बदले आज तक कोई स्पष्ट compensatory leave नहीं दी गई।

इसके बाद 30 जून से लगातार BLOs को SIR के काम में लगाया गया है। Second Saturday, Sunday, Gazetted Holiday, Restricted Holiday—लगभग हर छुट्टी में BLOs ने काम किया है। ECI की ओर से attendance/duty certificate तो दिया जाता है, लेकिन स्कूल स्तर पर कहा जाता है कि leave देने के लिए Department of Education का अलग आदेश चाहिए।

नतीजा यह है कि दिल्ली के सरकारी शिक्षक लगातार double duty कर रहे हैं—पहले स्कूल की पूरी जिम्मेदारी निभाना, बच्चों की पढ़ाई और अन्य स्कूल कार्य करना और उसके बाद SIR/BLO का काम करना। अन्य राज्यों में SIR के दौरान शिक्षकों को इस प्रकार की व्यवस्थाएँ दी गईं, लेकिन दिल्ली में शिक्षकों पर स्कूल और BLO—दोनों की जिम्मेदारी बनी हुई है।

अब मतदाता केंद्रों पर होने वाली hearings के संबंध में भी नई व्यवस्था के कारण BLOs की जिम्मेदारियाँ और बढ़ गई हैं। स्कूल की जिम्मेदारी संभालने के बाद वही शिक्षक घर-घर जाकर मतदाताओं से संपर्क करे, documents और forms संभाले तथा hearings से संबंधित कार्य भी करे—यह अत्यधिक workload है।

सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात BLOs की safety है। घर-घर जाकर काम करने के दौरान कई BLOs को मतदाताओं द्वारा बदतमीजी, अभद्र व्यवहार और धमकियों का सामना करना पड़ता है। कुछ मामलों में मारपीट तक की घटनाएँ सामने आई हैं। लेकिन BLOs की सुरक्षा और मानसिक दबाव पर बहुत कम चर्चा होती है।

सर, मेरा आपसे विनम्र अनुरोध है कि कृपया इस विषय पर भी प्रकाश डालें और दिल्ली के BLOs की वास्तविक समस्याओं को सामने रखें। हम किसी विशेष सुविधा की मांग नहीं कर रहे, बल्कि इतनी अपेक्षा है कि जो अतिरिक्त ड्यूटी सरकारी शिक्षकों से कराई जा रही है, उसका उचित recognition, compensatory leave/अन्य वैधानिक लाभ और BLOs की safety सुनिश्चित की जाए।

आप जैसे प्रभावशाली माध्यम से यदि BLOs की यह आवाज़ सामने आती है, तो हमारी समस्याएँ संबंधित अधिकारियों तक पहुँच सकती हैं।

Some future PM of India will enter office with the mindset that he only has 5 years in office and doesn't give a shit about re-election or his party's electability in state elections. India will see its boldest reforms then.

What India has now is someone who wants to win the next general election and every state election till then, and be PM for basically forever. So he will not make any disruptive move and backpedal at the slightest pushback, and who thinks glacial progress is compensated for with "stability," even if at the cost of huge political concessions to pressure groups and the opposition.

This is not a good enough deal for an aspirational Indian who wants to experience prosperity within his lifetime (and not at some distant post-retirement age).

So the big talk about bad wickets! Can someone explain to me the definition of a bad wicket? When Asian countries play overseas and when the wicket has lots of grass,movement and seam it’s a “sporty” wicket but in the subcontinent when it turns it’s call terrible wickets?To me bad wickets are ones that takes off a good length and can harm the batters or dangerous to play on!

Whatever your opinion of them, one must acknowledge the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s sense of self-respect. We didn’t really do much to them, just removed one of their players from the IPL, and they took it to heart enough to refuse to tour India.
