The U.S. presidential debate last night - I’m reflecting as a very disappointed, very active member of the Democratic party and as an American with three young children.

How is it that a country of 335 million talented people, with a median age of 38.5, is fielding two men who are past their prime productive years.

Are these really the best we can find to run our country - the world’s largest economy and global superpower?

Our politics - federal, state and local - is totally dysfunctional and myopic focused mostly on petty irrelevant issues.

As Americans, regardless of our party affiliation, we should wake-up to the reality that the world has changed dramatically and we need strong, young, dynamic political leaders who understand that.

We have to find the current generation JFK, Reagan or Obama before it’s too late.
