Local media reported a fierce battle between SAC and local defence forces on 28 and 29 June in Paungbyin Township, Sagaing.

Airstrikes were reportedly carried out by the SAC, with multiple deaths over the two days.

Myanmar Witness used Google Earth to geolocate footage of damage to buildings allegedly caused by the airstrike.
