@Nifflas Reminds me of World of Warcraft’s original rested XP system. It started as a bonus that degrades and becomes a penalty the more you played. There was an outrage over it. The current system is mechanically the same, but instead you gain an accumulating bonus while logged off.

@KincannonArt I’m rewatching it with a new friend and couldn’t resist watching all of future again on my own. It’s still one of the most incredible shows I’ve seen, animated or not. I don’t follow online discourse about it much but I’m always surprised when I hear that it got any hate.

@discographete @chronicallybeee Actually, that’s maybe a bit more dismissive than it deserves. A parent saw the invitation on a visible staff monitor and was pretty upset by it, so it’s still shitty.
