Totally seething levels of anger from British military contacts about this, by the way.
A feeling that losses the British military took fighting alongside America in Iraq and Afghanistan (at American request) have been written out of history; their dead comrades disrespected.
@xamyofyork23 Oh I googled it and it was an internet theory not an actual study I read 🤣
It was called the Shopping Cart Theory

@xamyofyork23 I remember reading a study about being able to judge a persons character by whether they returned the trolley or not. Along the lines of Once it’s served a purpose, there is no personal gain from returning it etc. I hate it too
This lovely Roman brooch is somewhat of a mix of types. It's a Colchester derivative with the decoration of a Headstud brooch, & the apex moulding of a Trumpet brooch. The bright blue & yellow enamel also commonly feature on Headstud brooches. #FindsFriday https://t.co/B0PvHxmkEA
@DetectCumbria That part is different tbf, yours still looks Roman esque to me although I’m no expert. Google images shows quite a few permutations to the fibula and trumpet brooches though
