@DBH_NHSFT Brilliant work looking after the Doncaster Community during this pandemic, but was surprised to see that your Ward kitchens have such a low hygiene rating & letting the side down.
'Compliance with hygiene - Poor' is not good enough for already sick patients.
Doncaster is now a full 6% lower than the national average for the percentage of adults given their first jab and the gap seems to be widening.
What work is being done to encourage take-up?
Is it a particular age/group?
@afitzgeraldnhs@RupertSuckling@MayorRos
Thanks @afitzgeraldnhs & @RupertSuckling
We are doing considerably better than Sheffield, but it would be nice to catch up with Rotherham & Barnsley.
It is indeed a race against the virus. ๐
@afitzgeraldnhs Why is Doncaster falling behind national vaccine delivery percentages?
First dose - Donc 75.8%, National 79.8%
2nd dose - Donc 57.2%, National 57.8%
Is it shortage of vaccine, jabbers or people coming forward??
Could I have a reply please @afitzgeraldnhs
It's not a criticism, I think the NHS response has been outstanding, but would like to understand the logistics. @RupertSuckling@MayorRos
@statsgeekclare When are we going to get more detailed statistics about the vaccination rollout, especially local data.
It's almost 4 weeks now since the vaccine rollout started...
@MayorRos I haven't received a reply from Dr Suckling. Can you please advise if Doncaster is planning ahead & prepared to distribute the vaccine when/if it becomes available.
We need to be ahead of the game & advance planning is essential to ensure an efficient rollout. Thanks
@RupertSuckling Possible Vaccine rollout early Jan for care homes & most of the logistics will likely fall to you & your team.
Are plans in motion, such as identifying care homes, numbers needed, consent gained (where req), & who will administer?
Needs to be faster than flu jabs!
@LidlGB I did my weekly shop at same store earlier today, and staff STILL not wearing face coverings - only visors. In fact a shopper was arguing at the till with female staff assistant about the same issue. If they sneeze or cough, it's the shoppers who catch the viral load!!
@LidlGB Why aren't your Rossington Lidl staff wearing obligatory face coverings??
Everyone except the manager is just wearing a visor, which is NOT a covering, and does not protect shoppers from viral droplets emitted by them.
