the goal is to get $100k as quick as possible via trading, split that in half, take $50k to continue trading daily, use the other $50k for longer term swings (2-12 weeks).
from there it's simple, take the $50k and grow it to the $200k to use for longer time horizons, while continuing to swing and hold a small account to trade things I have extreme conviction on short time frames while utilizing the medium time frame account for most of my day to day.
i do not have the time, the interest, nor the desire to sit and trade fibs, S/R, and EMA's/MA's on the 5 minute to 4 hour time frames. we're building a massive business in the background that has many moving pieces that deserves most of my attention.
there is a plan, and we will execute.
current positions - was working in background so didn't have time to get stuff out today. sold $SPY calls maybe a little too soon but did some buying. got burned early on those $INTC, re-entered later. am really just deciding what to do into overnight.
got some Friday 740c on $SPY that I will close today, this first hour here I think determines direction and I believe positive news out of Iran is imminent
$AMZN - needs to hold the 0.618 fib otherwise headed to SMT MZ on daily that lines up with 200 SMA. holding 50 SMA can target the gap above at $267-270
out for $275, i'm getting ready to reload on more drawdown that's longer dated. I'm probably done for today unless i start a longer dated 715p. i think we stabilize today between $722-727 but we get one last flush down to $715
taking a small swing on Friday 427's on $SPY, this was a drastic selloff and I wouldn't be shocked if we bounce a little here.
5 and 10M BX's want to curl, bull flag on 1m, will cut quickly
i'm gonna sit on my hands for now.
i don't trust this market. there's tons of great setups but we have too many catalysts coming up one side and the put ratio on the other side leads me to believe the right way to be positioned is long.
that said there's too many unknowns and probabilities aren't lined up enough to take the risk
i actually think today may be a decent de-leveraging day
IH&S on the daily $SPY
Trump's comments around 'i don't think we should raise rates', which differs from his usual tone and leads me to believe this print may be hotter than expected.
estimates at 4.2%. we get anything above that and I think the first gap on the daily is in play at $728-725 which would us about 4.6% from ATH's.
the 21 EMA on the weekly at $708 all the way to the 0.618 fib at $680 is probably a solid landing zone and would be 10% off all ATH's.
it's a mid-term year. I think we got some weird shit lined up this summer
