I was late to a call because the Iranian regime is trying to kill my family.
“How is this war going?” asked my colleague.
And I thought…
I’m not physically ill worrying about what the savages are doing to my brothers and sisters held hostage in Gazan tunnels.
I’m getting more than the 30 seconds I’d get when Gazans launched rockets at me.
I’m not attending the funerals of 19 year old heroes every three weeks.
I’m not frustrated with the US response from “Don’t move on Haifa” Joe and “I’ve seen the maps” Kamala.
I’m not watching Greta riding a dinghy to my coast.
I’m not seething with rage that we are literally feeding our enemies and condemned by the UN for not feeding them enough.
I’m not shattered by the realization that we are, once again, trading murderers soaked in Jewish blood for innocent civilians.
“So, yeah. It’s tough.” I said. “But it could be a whole lot worse.”
@Hyattgolf@NimaYamini I believe Iran is less divided politically than the us, it’s just dictatorship vs freedom, with the majority wanting freedom, but not having the means to achieve it until now
