LLMs are masters of logos: great at mapping, remixing, and exploring ideas (dianoia). But maps aren’t territory (Taoism) and text isn’t truth (noēsis). However they still have utility if we ground them with math, data, tools, and falsification.

LLM’s are bounded by language. Language is the map not the territory.
They have no intrinsic purchase on “what must be so” only “what is often said to be so”. We can however, still generate novelty.

We can use constraints (proofs, physics, environment limitations) to have models answer to something that isn’t words.

Due to the interdependence of time and space a change in space produces a subsequent change in time. Thus the driving force for our traversal of time must be the expansion of our universe.

The unraveling of events over time is deterministic in nature. We are traversing this path. But as all movement in nature requires a force. Something must be pulling or pushing us along our traversal of time. Something physical in nature.

The universe has a way of sorting things out. However, you must remember that you are a part of the universe i.e. the phrase isn’t an invitation for complacency but a reminder to participate in the pursuit of justice.
