@carlosdetoro @thomas__laine Definitely worth exploring — super fun! You can export ROM files that you can then upload to your flash cartridge or other means of playing like web browser, etc.

@thomas__laine @carlosdetoro what the Gameboy can handle. RPG Maker looks more like Gameboy Advance because of the amount of colors, details, etc. in the pixel density.

Again, I sadly don't know anything about RPG Maker so I could be wrong! Just my two cents on checking out the website. (2/2)

@thomas__laine @carlosdetoro I rarely ever use Twitter any longer but saw this oddly enough! So I would recommend building in GB Studio as it's the most viable option without having to learn C++ like the old days.

By quick glance, it looks like RPG Maker may be outside the processing power of... (1/2)

Lately I’ve been designing within an environment that has an immense amount of limitations and restraints — the Gameboy Color. Designing with tile sets and a resolution of 160x144 pixels sure is difficult but we’re doin’ it!! This here is the title screen to a game I’m making 🤠

Hiring managers/recruiters make split second decisions, so if your work isn’t serviceable at first glance they’ve already moved on.
