In solidarity with the general strike happening this Friday, we’re postponing this week’s event by ONE day. The event will now take place January 31st on Saturday. This strike is important to the both of us and we would appreciate you joining us.

What do you think #writingcommunity? The #YouDeservepIt events used to be fall & spring but so many events have popped up which is becoming an over saturation issue for the entire industry (authors, editors, agents). To help with this, I’m thinking about shifting to 1x/year.

As another point to this, hosting pitch events across two platforms (like #YouDeservepIt) is incredibly time consuming, so I want to make sure that when it’s hosted it’s beneficial to the community and not creating more of an over saturation issue!
