Last Thursday I had the honor of speaking at the Atlanta Blockchain Center about how AI can supercharge the way we build in Web3.

Before I got into the talk, I asked the room:
“Who here has NEVER used AI before?” To my surprise — nobody in the room raised their hand meaning 100% of the room , young and old, had exposure to the new technology and were really here to either learn more about AI or get a formalized overview as to how AI could be applied to defi technology.

That told me everything I needed to know:
People aren’t scared of AI. They’re curious, excited, and ready to build.

By the end of the night, we had:
✅ Broken down prompt engineering
✅ Covered core concepts of crypto & DeFi
✅ Built a personal landing page with https://t.co/vm88Qnnq80
✅ Deployed our first smart contract on Remix IDE — from scratch

The best part?
Afterward, folks told me they finally brought an old idea back to life… or wrote a smart contract after 10 years of just hearing about them. That kind of energy is exactly what we all hope for as speakers and educators.

Also, since this crowd didn’t have laptops, I pivoted everything to be mobile-first — and tools like @lovable made that possible without compromising the experience. Shout out to them for being crowd-friendly and plug-and-play.

AI and crypto are no longer “future tech” — they’re now tools. And we’re just getting started. 💻🔗

$500,000. 15 days. The first AI feature film exists.

Just watched "Hell Grind" by @higgsfield_ai at @aionthelot.

Honest thoughts after the screening:

1. The tech is here. AI is now invisible to the human eye in feature-length production. The visual barrier has fallen.

2. AI actors aren't there yet. Some performances feel real, but it's still hard to feel empathy for an AI character.

3. Storytelling is the bottleneck. The story and dialogue need tightening, this is the most critical missing piece.

4. 15 days is too aggressive. The feat deserves applause, but 2-3 months is a more realistic timeline for a polished 90-minute film.

5. The economics are still unproven. $500K production cost, but the real question is what the market will pay. That's a script and audience problem, not an AI problem.

Overall: AI feature filmmaking is now accessible to small teams and mini studios. That's the real shift.

Maybe not a popular take but I am calling for this guy to be pardoned. Unless the DOJ plans on going after all the crooks in congress currently insider trading, this is simply skewed justice. There is no “justice” when guys like this get the book thrown at him yet members are illegally profiting every day.

The world is changing. Technology is accelerating. Our principle remains constant. People come first. Our goal is a government that is faster, more responsive, and more impactful.
