@gobysimon @CoralReefFish @FishGuyKai I've just found this pic of Gymnothorax margaritophorus by Jeffrey T. Williams (from a specimen in FP) and the more I look at it the more I'm getting convinced that it's that fish species. But I agree Uropterygius is a good guess too... oh lord eels are just to difficult for me^^

@CoralReefFish @FishGuyKai @gobysimon Just photograph and release unfortunately (but fortunately for the fish 😁). I have a less artistic picture with fish whole body visible if any specialist is interested. But this picture is yet not a perfect profile picture, as this is highly complex to obtain with living eels
