"Grief opens up your heart to evolution and growth unlike anything else.
Now, it is up to you to take this expansion and spread it wide open into your life."

I’m still learning that I must fully experience (feel) negative emotions in order to release them. Too often I immediately begin talking myself out of them. This stops the flow of energy and they get stuck. When I do this I’m seeking relief too quickly, and it becomes suppression.
“Grief never ends... but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith... it is the price I’d love.” Author Unknown
You know there has been healing, when what you expected to be one of the hardest times of the year is actually full of peace and even joy. This is my 3rd year, and I could never have imagined I would be here. #griefandholidays
What time did for me was smooth the rough edges off of grief. I didn’t WANT to let go because I thought that meant I would lose him again. But, I HAD to let go to live the life God intended for me to have. One of abundance and joy and hope. I pray your pain eases, dear one. 🙏❤️
When grieving, it is important to be true to yourself. You've already learnt that life is too short to waste precious time. Follow your heart, say 'no' when it suits you and don't worry about being judged. Your life is only yours to live. #YNN#thisisgrief#lessonsingrief#Grief
Grief doesn’t go away, but it does change. Today my heart is smiling as I remember my loved one, rather than crumbling at the thought of his absence #griefdialogues#Griefmatters#healingingrief
#Grief & #Love : A new life calls for new traditions. Drawing from the old. Adding in the new. This has helped me look forward while still remembering my late husband. #Healing#Life#Thanksgiving
Lift a glass yourself. If you’ve lost a loved one then you deserve praise, love and adoration. It’s not easy to grieve so raise a glass to yourself this weekend and know that you are resilient and loved.
@ConnectionsHope Something else to be thankful for... the people who understand how much heavier the weight of grief is during the holidays and who lighten that burden by sharing fond memories of our loved ones who have died.
