Believe me, anon, nobody can find a heterosexual explanation for this. Like… Krauser keeps calling Leon a “pretty boy,” carries his picture for years (and since it’s all bent and scratched, it’s pretty much been USED), obsesses over fighting him, insists it has to be “between the two of them,” and then dies with Leon piercing his heart… fucking romantic.

And I don’t want to disinform you, so it’s either my fantasy, or I read it in an article or on the wiki… but weren’t the VAs instructed to act like ex-lovers or something, specifically so players would feel the tension?
