Wondering how your PSSP contributions work? Your PSSP contributions are deducted
from your pay each payday by your employer. Your employer also pays an amount equal

Ready to retire? Don’t forget you need to apply for your pension! To apply for your pension, you must submit your notice of retirement to your Human Resources Representative and you must contact us to request a retirement package 3-4 months prior to your planned retirement date. Starting today, April 1, 2026, the 35-year cap on pensionable service has been removed. Plan members who reach 35 years of pensionable service will now continue contributing and earning service for as long as they remain active Plan members. If you previously reached 35 years and are still active, your contributions and service accrual will resume, with an option to purchase eligible past service.
