They’re denying God right off the bat. How? Because the God who exists says they already have enough evidence (Romans 1:18-21. They thought they were standing on some kind of “neutral ground”, but they have contradicted God right off the bat by saying He’s wrong.

Think about it with me:
Picture an agnostic (or even an atheist). They may *claim* that they’re totally open to believing in God if they had enough evidence. (“I’d believe In God if the evidence was there, but I just don’t see it.”)
What’s actually happening there? …

I've got so much more to learn, but I just want to say that even in the scary parts of life, God is gracious to teach us valuable lessons. He's there, and He's active. And the more we feel our weakness, the more it causes us to rely on Him and experience His strength.

I have sometimes heard of people becoming upset when they quit coming to church and no one in the church cared for them enough to call them to see why they haven’t been coming. I think there’s some validity to that concern and it might mean that the church dropped the ball...
