We invited first borns and people who carry responsibility in their families to a private screening of The Boy Who Gave and the entire room couldn’t hold their tears in.
The Boy Who Gave is that film! Catch it in any cinema close to you from May 15th.
At the core of this barbaric practice is a fundamental disregard of women as people.
We think these are isolated incidents, cultural anomalies, aberrations. But in reality, they are not.
They are expressions of a deeper rot. This insane belief that women’s bodies are negotiable.
Refusing to believe this good news is rejecting the incredible love of God revealed in the sacrifice of His Son.
This is why Salvation could never be by Works, because no matter how much we tried, we still would never be able to.
The Eternal One came to give us Eternal Life!
At the cross, it seemed as though Satan had bruised His heel.
But three days later, we see the Seed of the woman(Christ) eventually crush the head of the Serpent through His resurrection. He overcame the world, giving us victory over sin & death.
Now, after all of this has literally been said and done, God only asks that you believe. That’s like saying:
“I’ve shown you My love. Now it’s your turn to accept it by faith, simply believing that all of this was done for your sake to save you from eternal death.”
The Seed of the woman alone (Christ sent through the Virgin Birth) came to dwell among mankind.
Fulfilling the prophecy in Isaiah 7:14 that the Virgin shall conceive and bear a Son named Emmanuel meaning “God With Us(Mankind)
“Before Abraham Was, I AM”
Old Testament: Christ Concealed,
New Testament: Christ Revealed!!
How do we even question the deity of Christ? It’s literally scattered across the Old Testament.
In Genesis 3:15; God saying “Then the seed of the woman shall bruise the head of the…
This same Eternal Word, in John 1:14, later entered history in the form of a man, dwelling among mankind to fulfill the will of the Father which is the redemption promise spoken in Genesis.
To prove that He is indeed divine, just like the Word spoken in Genesis 3:15,
Right there in the garden, immediately after the fall of man, God already spoke redemption.
Fast forward to John 1:1, we see the Eternal Word, who already existed with God & was present when the first redemption promise (the protoevangelium) was made in Genesis 3:15.
…the head of the serpent, and the seeds of the serpent shall bruise his heel.
By the way, this verse is what theologians consider the Protoevangelium; the very first declaration of the Gospel & God’s redemptive plan for mankind.
