@ProductiveChris People who experience imposter syndrome often know more about the subject, and have more empathy towards their audience, than most (the self awareness that they *don't* have all the answers is testament to that). Set a strict deadline, over prepare, then do it!
@fibromyalgiast1@FatherSpike I used to really struggle with this with my ankylosing spondylitis. In my case I found that cutting out refined sugar completely has really helped
Chest pain! It can be so scary. Costochondritis is a condition which cause inflammation of the junction where the upper ribs join with the cartilage that holds them to the breastbone or sternum. The condition causes localized chest wall pain and tenderness that can be reproduced by pushing on the involved cartilage on the front of the rib cage.
This condition is common in Fibromyalgia sufferers who often mistake the severe pain for a heart attack or a fibro flare. However most do not always realise it is a separate condition causing this particular pain and therefore requires its own treatment and diagnosis.
Do you suffer with this?
How long have you had it and what helps you manage it?

@adfurlan 2/2 The questions we get tend to follow a script. e.g. for AS: 1) how long do you have back stiffness each morning, 2) rank your pain out of 5. Anything else is largely dismissed. Rigid focus on what's in that practice's current wheelhouse, to the exclusion of more recent studies
@adfurlan 1/2 That pain isn't a binary, easy to label thing that can neatly be put in a box. Today I might have fatigue, brain fog and a slight awareness of my joints, but no pain. Tomorrow I might feel absolutely fine. The next day one of the SI joints might be screaming...
@jammach I've found electrolytes and magnesium malate (in powder form) great (I have AS). Also cold exposure (cold shower will do!) massively helps lower inflammation and gives an energy bump. Hard at first but I've built up to 2 mins cold shower a day now and love it
@iamkushroom That's great Luke! I reckon that will give you a massive edge. Are you taking magnesium as well? As autoimmuners we tend to be deficient in magnesium and supplementing with it can really help (I've found malate powder best, personally)
@onlylight210 Really empathise and feel for you. I've had this curse for 20 years (but only diagnosed 2 years ago). I recently launched a free resource which I hope might help you in a small way https://t.co/83ahRngwdf
For the last 2 years I've tracked dozens of data points daily to see what works (and what doesn't) for my #ankylosingspondylitis. Looking forward to publishing and sharing with you soon
๐งช AStronauts, let's put on our lab coats and find the little things we can do to make each day better. Trial and error are part of the process. ๐ฌ๐ก #ankylosingspondylitis
A new study used machine learning to develop profiles of individuals likely to develop Ankylosing Spondylitis in the future. While promising, researchers felt more models may be needed to improve diagnosis. #ankylosingspondylitis#machinelearning#AIML_in_health https://t.co/DHRsOV0EwH
Hello autoimmune warriors! I've created a website which focuses on ways to help manage #ankylosingspondylitis by targeting root cause and gut health. I hope it helps! https://t.co/WfNeMy3vFw
