We are the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society (NASS). We transform the diagnosis and care of axial SpA. This year we are celebrating our 50th anniversary
Great engagement at evening talk to local GP & physiotherapy colleagues about topics including
🔺axial SpA , spade tool/delay to diagnosis
🔺 FQAD
🔺 osteoporosis

Enough people in the UK live with Axial SpA to fill Wembley twice, but 90% of the public haven't heard of the condition.
This needs to change.
Thanks to @GBNEWS and @Nanaakua1 for having me on to talk about my fundraiser for @NASSexercise
This #WorldASDay a reminder that #axialspondyloarthritis is not just back pain! It’s a whole host of other extra musculoskeletal https://t.co/SqN0PsT2CI

This May I’m taking part in Walk Your AS Off for @NASSexercise to raise awareness about my condition 🧡
My health isn’t at its best, so I’m not setting a target.
Any donation or share would mean a lot. 🧡
It’s #WorldASDay tomorrow
AS patients like me wait an average of 8 years to get a diagnosis - risking irreversible damage to our spines.
This delay does more than harm our health. @NASSexercise have shown it causes a £3.1bn a year hit to the U.K economy as we work and earn less.
AS is more common than Parkinson’s and ME combined, but 9 in 10 people know nothing about it.
I’ve written for @Daily_Express on how reducing the delay to diagnosis will give thousands their lives back and help get Britain working again.

On #WorldASDay thank you to @BBCLondonNews for covering my story.
Sadly, it's nothing out of the ordinary. I've met people who've waited 30 years for an AS diagnosis.
That's why in September, I'm climbing 8 peaks in 8 days to raise money for @NASSexercise.
The more people who know about inflammatory arthritis, the less time patients will wait for the treatment they need.

Many know Charlie Robards’ Hitting AS for Six- it’s resonated with hundreds. Readers call it "eye-opening" and "properly relatable" about living with axial SpA. Charlie candidly balances a love of sport with chronic pain. All profits go to NASS: https://t.co/dmdj2vLivS #AxialSpA
Last clinic with my #Rheumatology friends before next week's @RheumatologyUK annual conference in Glasgow 🙏🏻
I'll be delivering two sessions on AxSpA and the eye ⚕️👁️
