Distance or accessibility shouldn’t determine the unity of a region or its people. Kupwara’s location may make it remote, but its beauty, culture, and strategic importance are integral to Kashmir.

Kupwara should be separated from Kashmir. It takes 5 days just to reach it from Srinagar. Who knows what remote jungle it’s tucked away in? Maybe it’s better off there, away from the rest of us.
