@Jermainejunior A great organization is built from the inside out. What’s described is the epitome of succeeding at being mediocre. The growth of us soccer is basic generational evolution vs byproduct of strategic execution. US soccer should talk to Carolina Hurricanes, time to hire a scientists
@TaylorTwellman The VARandom Red Card suspension of Mr Balogun has been suspended. As result of the suspended suspension the FIFA solution will be Mr Balogum immediate tournament continuation. 🤪 US Soccer Fans wanted answers. Belgium, you can't handle the truth, as FIFA randomly interpret it!
@FOXSoccer@stuholden VAR is not designed to interpret a players intent. It slows the game down to ensure accuracy of an explicit fact. The VAR was triggered using a player-initiated-challenge loop hole via the overstatement of an injury.
@ninjudd@espn@andydaviesref So let's change the narrative? Mr Muharemović overstated injury as an informal method to invoke a player-initiated-challenge using VAR to evaluate the intent of Mr Balogun. Muharemović remained in the game, thus why interpret via VAR Mr Balugun wanted to injure him.
@TaylorTwellman You don't build a review process around unverified judgement. And if the player overstates an injury to trigger a VAR review — that becomes a form of player challenge, for intent, for which there must be an appeal.
@ESPNFC@Jermainejunior The only reason the red card was issued was the opponent solicited refs to review by over-stating the seriousness of foul. Opponent did not come out of game. So crying on the floor is Soccer’s version of a challenge flag?
@herculezg You know it’s red card worthy b/c the player was banging their hand against the ground. That’s when the refs know to go to VAR. And the player was carted off the field, and is getting and MRI at Stamford as we speak. Wait, my bad he was playing fine after RED card issued.
@TaylorTwellman@FIFAcom So the opponent did not leave the game for injury? Was not visibly injured after card was issued? Flo did not throw a punch, cover his mouth, push ref, or speak back to ref. But he is suspended for one game? What am I missing?
@NFL The NFL players and fans are indeed a remarkable family. During this horrific tragedy, it is moving to see fans from around the league offering direct-monetary support to Damar's charity. Damar's Go Fund Me page has a goal of $2,500, which is now over $3,300,000. #1NFLfamily
