PANTEKA MARKET GETS A NEW BOOST!
For the traders, artisans and business owners who keep Panteka Market moving, development means better access, improved healthcare and new opportunities to grow.
Governor @ubasanius's commissioning of the reconstructed Chechnya–Panteka Market Road, a market clinic equipped with an ambulance, and an ICT Centre brings these essential facilities closer to the market community.
These investments reflect Kaduna State’s development priorities and align with President @officialABAT’s Renewed Hope Agenda—advancing infrastructure, strengthening access to essential services and creating opportunities for skills development and enterprise.
From Kaduna to the national level, the focus remains on building a stronger economy and improving lives through purposeful development.
Continuity in Kaduna. Renewed Hope for Nigeria.

I was pleased to receive the leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House following their 91st Senate Session and a tour of projects delivered by our administration across Kaduna State. I deeply appreciate their vote of confidence and endorsement of my candidacy and that of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term. I regard this expression of trust as a responsibility to deepen our service to the people.
Students and young people are indispensable partners in shaping Nigeria’s future. Our commitment to education therefore extends to ensuring that learning equips them with practical skills, sound judgement and the capacity to build fulfilling livelihoods. Through sustained investment in skills development, we are creating pathways to self-reliance, productive enterprise and meaningful participation in the economy.
During our engagement, I outlined our progress in education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure and other sectors. President Tinubu’s support for subnational governments has strengthened our capacity to deliver these interventions. We remain determined to consolidate the gains and ensure that development expands opportunities for our young people across communities, regardless of background or economic circumstance.
Responding to the Association’s request for operational vehicles, I donated four buses to its different sections to facilitate their activities and mobility. I value this engagement with NANS and reaffirm our commitment to a partnership founded on dialogue, mutual respect and shared purpose. Our young people deserve institutions that listen to them and policies that enable their aspirations to flourish.

@ubasanius This announcement highlights the importance being placed on the welfare of pensioners. We hope these measures will further improve the lives of retirees and their families across Kaduna State.
I reaffirmed our administration’s commitment to the welfare and dignity of pensioners across Kaduna State by announcing plans to further increase pensions to provide greater support and improve the quality of life of our retirees. I made this announcement during a courtesy visit by the National and State Executives of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners (NUP).
Since assuming office, our administration has disbursed more than ₦21 billion towards the payment of pension arrears, gratuities and death benefits, while sustaining prompt monthly pension payments. We recognise the sacrifices made by our retirees in serving Kaduna State, and we remain determined to honour their service with compassion, responsibility and concrete action.
I am deeply humbled by the decision of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners to honour me with the “Pensioner-Friendly Governor” award, in recognition of our administration’s dedication to the welfare and wellbeing of pensioners over the last three and a half years. I dedicate this recognition to the people of Kaduna State and, most importantly, to our pensioners whose years of dedicated service helped build the state we are proud of today.
The Union also expressed its confidence in the direction of our administration by endorsing me for another term in office and declaring its readiness to mobilise its members across Kaduna State for our victory in the 2027 election. I am grateful for this show of confidence and remain committed to earning the trust and support of our people through continued delivery of good governance, inclusive development and improved welfare for all.
As a further demonstration of our commitment to supporting our pensioners, I presented an official operational bus to the union and allocated a parcel of land for the construction of its permanent state secretariat. These interventions will strengthen the Union’s operations and provide our pensioners with the institutional support and dignity they deserve.
