Three months later, they haven’t even entered the actual visa queue.

Für Bewerber aus Delhi geht es bei dieser Verzögerung nicht nur um Zeit. Es geht um verlorene Zeit:
— Zulassungen
— Mietkautionen
— Gebuchte Flüge
— Psychisches Wohlbefinden
— Ein ganzes akademisches Jahr
Und wie lautet die Erklärung dafür? Ein vager Hinweis auf eine Panne, ohne dass eine echte Lösung angeboten wird.

For Delhi applicants, this delay isn’t just about time. It’s lost:

Es als technischen Fehler zu bezeichnen, mag diplomatische Bedenken zerstreuen, aber für die Studierenden, die immer noch in der CSP-Schwebe feststecken, keine Unterlagen einreichen können und nicht weiterkommen, ist das Problem noch lange nicht gelöst.
Diese Diskrepanz zwischen Worten und Taten sorgt für Verwirrung statt für Beruhigung.

My friend got their German student visa within 43 days from the Kolkata consulate.
Meanwhile, Delhi applicants from March are still waiting endlessly.
Why is there such a huge difference?

Students from New Delhi face indefinite delays. Meanwhile, other consulates (Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata) process student visas in under 3 weeks.
This disparity is not just frustrating, it is fundamentally unfair.

Delhi applicants do not lack preparation. They have the same APS, funds, insurance, and offers, just no timeline, no visibility, and no way forward.

@GermanyinIndia Kindly try to reduce 3 month wait time . What’s the point of CSP portal if it can’t reduce processing time? North Indian students should be redistributed across other consulates in order to reduce the workload of Delhi. @AmbAckermann @KasparJoMeyer
