Personally, I don't see Bitcoin as just an investment or something that might go up in price. What makes Bitcoin special to me is that nobody can print more of it whenever it's convenient. For years, people have watched their savings lose value because of inflation, while those closest to the financial system benefit the most. Bitcoin changes that by giving everyone access to the same set of monetary rules, no matter where they live or who they are.

A lot of people call it digital gold, and I get why, but I think it's bigger than that. Gold can help preserve wealth, but Bitcoin gives ordinary people a way to protect themselves from a system that constantly chips away at their purchasing power.
