The 2nd match of the Serbian final between RK Vojvodina and RK Partizan has been abandoned.

Vojvodina states the following:

“Something like this has never happened before in Serbian handball!

1️⃣ Partizan fans interrupted the match twice.

2️⃣ A firecracker injured our player Fran Milea, referee Marković, and possibly others near the explosion, as could be seen on the TV broadcast.

3️⃣ The protective net cable behind the goal - where the Partizan supporters were located - was torn down and damaged.

4️⃣ Even after more than one hour of interruption, the police did not clear the section with the Partizan fans and allowed the match to continue.

5️⃣ The delegate ordered the match to resume within 15 minutes under unchanged circumstances.

6️⃣ The Partizan players returned to the court, while the Vojvodina players refused due to the lack of safety guarantees for the health and lives of those involved.

7️⃣ The referees declared the match over and awarded Partizan the victory by official result. At the moment of interruption, Vojvodina led 6–5 in the 14th minute.”
