I started indie hacking in 2022 and built my first app and uploaded it to the App store. I spent a little money on advertising and in the end I got 500 downloads from 13k views and made $17.
I did not give up and started my project that helps to find domain names. I launched this project on Product Hunt and got over 2500 people to the site. But this project also failed in the monetization part. This project was "Product of the day #5".
I learned a lot and now I'm about to launch my new project. Let's connect!
@Hunter_Weiss@cormachayden_ if you think eggs and alcohol has same rating, problem is you. in EU, every product has its own nutri-score, but it is category based. you can't compare C level olive oil with B level sugar cereal. It is not unlogical, it is category-oriented.
@s23amourai@radjathaher@muratworks the schema is not vc, it is old apps and grew in years. they spend more money than monthly income because of LTV. it is betting for future.
Glam Up hit $1.8m ARR in 8 months.
Sprout hit $3m ARR in 7 months.
The key to that was our UGC playbook.
I'm finally dropping the playbook and lowkey I'm scared to drop this. You'll understand why once you read it.
It's gonna be three parts but here's part 1. Part 1 itself is 40 pages long.
I made sure it's tactical advice and upfront with no BS.
Bonus: repost + reply 'warmup' and I'll DM you the Account Setup + Warmup module from our internal creator course.
Must be following so I can DM.

@eyali__@jakecastilloooo if it is above 1.5%, stripe will ban your account. some of the payment providers allow you up to 8-10% chargeback but all of them cost you chargeback penalty
i tried cursor and it is so fast and as smart as opus for 20x cheaper price. Actually I paid 6$ for $20 plan and in one day only used 2% of usage credits. I am planning to move cursor at this point.
@SourabhGurwani everytime when user contacts to customer support and complains about netflix streaming speed, they asked them to check fast com and user saw it is from ISP, not from Netflix.
@SourabhGurwani A few decades ago, ISPs in the US started blocking traffic from Netflix or to Netflix, and people contacted and blamed Netflix for that. So, Netflix came up with a brilliant idea, they created fast com and hosted it on Netflix servers.
some people are tweeting about using openai api for $1/m tokens, okay, they may be routing and logging your prompts and use for training their own models
but in telegram, people are selling real chatgpt accounts for half of the price. i don't understand how it works
