We are looking for experienced foreigners as well. Both in the drone side and assault.
Also go follow and spread the word.
@LibertyUkraineF
I thank @GiorgiaMeloni for the support and a clear, unequivocal, principled stance. Thank you for understanding who the aggressor is and what it means to build a dignified and lasting peace. This is possible only through strength and joint efforts for our security.

KEY TAKEAWAY: Ukraine’s partners must learn what is arguably the most important lesson from this war – recognizing (and denying) the Kremlin’s strategy of disrupting Ukraine’s and its partners’ initiative. Russia has undermined Ukraine’s and Western initiative in the past by manipulating Western decision-making. The Kremlin invoked nuclear blackmail during Ukraine’s counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast and in Kherson in Fall 2022. The Kremlin’s cognitive warfare effort at the time negatively shaped Ukraine’s allies’ decision about supplying Ukraine with military equipment and prevented Ukrainian forces from imposing additional defeats on Russian forces, disrupting Ukraine’s momentum and prolonging the war.
Russia seeks to keep Ukraine and its allies in a reactive stance, focused on discussing tactics rather than developing a strategy. Russia is trying to create new dilemmas to force Ukraine and its allies to respond to exigent threats and crises, for example jet-powered drones or offers of cooperation — like the Kremlin’s energy deal — to undermine Ukraine and the West’s proactive and sustained campaigns.
Ukraine’s allies must prevent Russia from once again disrupting Ukraine’s battlefield momentum and help Ukraine seize and hold the strategic initiative against Russia — as Russia’s strategic bombing campaign against Ukraine becomes more brutal alongside Russia’s kinetic attacks against Europe. Most immediately, Ukraine’s partners must help accelerate the scaling of countermeasures to Russian jet-powered drones, recognizing that this capability makes Russia’s 2026 strategic bombing campaign particularly dangerous due to the systems’ effectiveness against dynamic targets, including those deep in Ukraine’s rear.
Ukraine’s partners must proactively resource Ukraine’s battlefield momentum. Momentum requires resourcing and planning. The European Union’s release of its loan to Ukraine should avoid repeating the incrementalism patterns in delivery of Western military aid that allowed Russia to prolong the war in the first place. European funding needs to support Ukraine’s military leadership’s ability to plan simultaneous and successive operations well into the next year in order to sustain and grow the effects of Ukraine’s 2026 progress in its ground war.
The United States and Europe must proactively resource Ukraine’s deep strike campaign against Russia’s defense industrial and energy sectors by increasing sanctions on Russia’s energy sector and helping accelerate the growth of Ukraine’s deep strike capability.
If it’s true that @SpaceX is limiting military grade (starshield) terminals in Ukraine, if I was an investor I’d be angry. As it is an action that will ultimately push countries who are wanting it for military and security away from signing a contract. It’s also likely to have consequences in regards to licensing and state security in general to starlink.
IE they could be shootings themselves in the foot in regards to future profitability numbers as countries become wary of a company who plays politics with its services it offers. Especially in the communications industry.
A Ban on Self-Defense
Imagine buying a Lenovo computer, a Bosch appliance, a Toyota, or simply paying for a Netflix subscription. You pay for it, use it, and stick to the terms of the agreement.
Then one day, it suddenly stops working. You call customer support, and they tell you: “There’s nothing wrong with your device. The company owner has simply decided you shouldn’t be allowed to use it today. He has his own views on things.”
Sounds absurd? Of course. That’s why we have laws, contracts, consumer rights, and corporate accountability. Even when a company has the right to restrict a service, that right should be clearly stated in the agreement, and there should be a legitimate reason for exercising it.
But apparently, Starlink operates under different rules.
Elon Musk controls one of the world’s most important satellite communication systems. He has the technical ability to restrict its operation remotely. And right now, people’s lives depend on that connection, including Ukrainian soldiers and civilians.
On October 14, 2026, Reuters reported new restrictions on satellite communications for Ukrainian forces. These restrictions disrupted drone operations and forced the cancellation of some combat missions.
Put simply, operations to destroy russian missile launchers were disrupted. Those same launchers remained intact, continued firing at Ukrainian cities, and killed more civilians, including women and children.
And unfortunately, this has happened before.
In 2022, during Ukraine’s counteroffensive in the Kherson region, Starlink connections went down. Reuters later published an investigation reporting that Musk had personally ordered coverage restrictions in areas where Ukrainian forces were advancing.
That same year, he refused to activate Starlink coverage near Crimea for a Ukrainian naval drone operation against the russian fleet.
In 2023, SpaceX executives openly acknowledged that the company had restricted Ukraine’s ability to use Starlink to control drones.
Somehow, we’ve ended up in a world where a country under attack has to keep explaining why it has the right to defend itself. Where strikes against the aggressor’s territory spark more debate about escalation than the daily russian bombardment of Ukrainian cities.
And now, a private businessman can influence that country’s ability to defend itself.
All of this is happening while the world knows perfectly well who putin is and what his wars have cost.
Chechnya. The Second Chechen War began in 1999 and claimed up to 25,000 lives, mostly civilians, according to human rights estimates. The exact number of children killed remains unknown.
Georgia. In 2008, according to Georgian authorities, 228 civilians were killed. Children were among the victims.
Ukraine. Since 2014, thousands of civilians have been killed. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion alone, the United Nations had confirmed more than 16,000 civilian deaths by mid-2026, including more than 800 children. The real numbers are almost certainly much higher.
We could also talk about Syria, where russian military operations have caused thousands of civilian deaths, including children, according to independent monitoring organizations.
And after all of this, we’re still discussing whether we should be afraid of making putin angry.
Let me remind you that the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for putin over alleged war crimes involving the unlawful deportation of Ukrainian children.
That is why I call putin’s regime a terrorist regime.
So, is Musk deliberately helping russia? Some of the Starlink restrictions have had consequences that benefited the russian military. I believe the public has every right to demand an investigation into whether those consequences were intentional.
I’m not naive. I understand perfectly well that when you’re drowning, you often have to save yourself. Ukraine has been living with that reality since 2014.
Last night, Ukraine 🇺🇦 suffered from a large restriction access to Starlink, which speed was limited to 160km/h and later to 70km/h
This action taken by Elon Musk or the Pentagon 🇺🇸 puts an end to mid-range strikes against Russian 🇷🇺 logistics in occupied territories and to the interception of Russian Geran-2/4/5 drones by interceptors.
Long-range strikes remain unaffected, as they do not rely on Starlink, and the same applies to FPV strikes. Nevertheless, this is a free boost for the Kremlin, handed to them on a silver platter by the United States.
For several days, Ukraine has been observing a ceasefire regarding Russian energy targets, whereas Russia has not, having struck at least 26 targets overnight. It will take a few hours for an official reaction from the United States to emerge.
This move sets a serious precedent that will influence the decision of many states regarding the use of Starlink, in Europe and Asia, since the US don't seem to be a reliable partener anymore at all.
MORE: Ukraine has regained the operational initiative on most key battlefield directions and has been contesting Russia’s strategic initiative since late 2025, writes @nataliabugayova. ⬇️
Ukraine has slowed Russian battlefield advances to a footpace in 2026 and has grown the already staggering human cost of the Russian advance.
Ukraine has retaken significant territory from Russia in 2026, and at the theater level has nearly zeroed out Russian gains for the year. ISW has observed evidence to assess that Russian forces have only made a net gain of about 100 square kilometers thus far in 2026 thanks to Ukrainian counteroffensives, which have liberated at least 1,046 square kilometers, for example. The daily Russian net rate of advance in 2026 is so far less than a square kilometer per day — literal footpace. Russia’s summer offensive has failed. Russia’s fall offensive is likely to fail as well.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has failed to accomplish any of his stated war aims in Ukraine to date. Putin did not force the Ukrainian government to capitulate, nor did he destroy the Ukrainian military. Russia is nowhere close to taking the rest of the Donetsk region, including the Fortress Belt – one of Putin’s stated war aims.
Ukraine has forced the Kremlin to confront dilemmas inside of Russia that would have been unthinkable not long ago. Ukraine’s deep strike campaign has triggered fuel shortages in Russia, degrading at least 30 percent of its refining capacity, and forced Moscow to choose which infrastructure to protect with air defense assets. Ukrainian advances and strikes are challenging Putin’s promises of Russia’s economic stability, security, and greatness.
Ukraine’s 2026 battlefield progress is not transient or accidental — it is a result of Ukraine’s maturing warfighting capabilities and military transformation that occurred over 2025 and 2026. Ukraine has significantly grown its intermediate-range and deep-strike campaigns, expanded military production, matured operational art concepts, and is increasingly focused on the long-term warfighting strategy. Ukraine is working on its ballistic missile program, which, if successful, will put key Russian defense industrial and military infrastructure at even greater risk.
American intelligence shared with Ukraine meant, among other things, precious minutes of advance warning about Russian missile launches - minutes that gave millions of Ukrainians a chance to reach bomb shelters, take cover, and save their lives.
Now Ukrainian women and children will no longer have those precious minutes. Trump and the United States have taken them away.
The United States is helping Russia wage a genocidal war against the Ukrainian people.
I never thought I would write something like this.
But this is the reality we now face…
For the second evening in a row, Russia is striking Kyiv with ballistic missiles. Our air defense system detected the missiles just moments before they reached the capital.
The main targets are energy facilities, including Darnytsia CHPP-4.
Sadly, a residential high-rise has also been hit, with fire engulfing apartments from the 1st to the 9th floors. As of now, one person has been killed and four injured. Evacuations are underway.
