From Chinese factories to European streets… a new wave of innovation is taking over!
Personal cooling gadgets made in China are becoming a hit across Europe as people look for new ways to fight extreme heat.
In Yiwu, orders for cooling hats with built-in fans are booked until the end of summer, while some new mini handheld fans have already sold out. Demand for cooling towels has also surged, with production rising 30% since April, and traditional Chinese fans are now becoming a fashionable accessory in Europe.
Japan has invented refrigerators for people
A person enters a cabin, sits on a chair, and closes the door. The temperature inside is maintained at 15°C, while the neck, head, and back are cooled by a directed airflow chilled to 5°C.
According to the developers, spending just 5–10 minutes inside the cabin is enough to feel the refreshing effect.
👀 A legendary moment from a 2004 interview featuring Angelina Jolie (then 29) and Monica Bellucci shows the two sharing intense eye contact — often described by fans as a meeting of “two goddesses.”
