asexuality is extremely common in high-functioning autistics, and it's easy to conclude that's due to the nature of ASD and its effects on human relationships (including sexuality). ASD affects your sexuality, and that's literally just normal

this doesn't make asexuality any less "valid", it literally just means asexuality/the ace spectrum as some people call it is more or less just a descriptor of how your brain handles your sexuality and the fact it's not considered average (allosexual)
