The Catholic Church has maintained the seal of confession for over 1,200 years.
As an absolute theological obligation.
Priests have never been canonically permitted to reveal what was spoken in the confessional - not under legal pressure, not under torture, not under threat of excommunication from above.
Some priests have gone to prison rather than break it. Some have died.
The seal exists because the Church understood that the act of honest self-disclosure requires an absolute guarantee of protection.
Remove the guarantee and you don't get honesty.
You get performance - the carefully edited version of the self that feels safe to reveal.
The confessional seal was not a privacy policy.
It was a theological commitment to the conditions under which the human soul can speak truthfully.
The math holds the seal now.
@Velaskyalf99@Neoncookies111 This has always bewildered me. Why not focus on accepting yourself as you are, instead of trying to change yourself externally, seems like an obviously unhealthy solution.
A number of great accounts popping up

4. @HoTPOfficial - Vote on every bill and law ever debated in Parliament.
Send others you know of, I am keeping a list.
Pimp and share - data is a weapon.
Platforms hosting lawful content must be shielded from government pressure to censor.
We would require transparency in content moderation and prohibit state-directed takedowns of legal speech.
The Online Safety Act law threatens the integrity of investigative journalism, whistleblowing, and political debate.
Fears of liability lead to over-moderation, driving smaller players out of the market and empowering Big Tech.
A Restore Britain government would therefore repeal the Online Safety Act - any Labour VPN ban would also be immediately reversed.
We would restore free speech.
Doing the final proofread of the Free Speech Act.
Section 4 of the Free Speech Act is what we propose as the "First Amendment for the UK."
Full bill dropping in a week, on April 1st.

Bitcoin was supposed to be electronic cash.
Cash is anonymous.
Instead we built the most detailed financial surveillance system in history and put it on a public ledger that lives forever.
The cypherpunks are spinning in their chairs.
DarkFi isn't about escaping accountability - it's about escaping infinite accountability.
In traditional society, reputation was local.
Make amends, be forgiven, move forward.
But digital permanence makes everything infinite. One mistake echoes forever. One regret haunts eternally. You're never allowed to change because the internet never forgets.
There is no mechanism of salvation in 2026.
