@MisterCavey Thanks for sharing! The policy doesn’t mention anything about cell phone use if teachers deem it necessary for learning activities - i.e students need it to create a video for a project. Do teachers still have that freedom, or do you use other school issued devices for creating?
@mtholfsen Awesome! That looks like a promising way to organize lesson and unit resources. Is there any update on School Connection? The missing piece for our school is the lack of access parents feel for viewing their child’s work/progress.
@TeachersOnFire@canva@MyEdTechLife@EdTechBites@GuiseGotTechEd @JakeMillerTech I think it depends on the user and the audience of the screencast. If you need to do a quick demo, then a native screen recorder is great (or something like @loom is even better), but if you need a recording that has call-outs or more advanced features then @Camtasia is my go-to
@cultofpedagogy@MicrosoftTeams Is there a specific content area that you’d like to focus on? I could share an example with you in which students use OneNote within @MicrosoftTeams to give warm and cool feedback on an app design project. :)

@MrNunesteach If I have time to make a deck, then I use Keynote. Keynote’s “instant alpha” and keynote remote features are incredibly useful… but if I’m in a pinch for time, @powerpoint has the design ideas which are a time saver.
@HollyZurak @jnovakowski38 We bought one by Skybasic on Amazon (it’s on sale for $40 right now). We wanted to trial one first to see how it went, but I think we’ll invest in a more sturdy unit in the fall. The Amazon unit worked surprisingly well, but it’s probably quite fragile.
Thanks @jnovakowski38 for the ideas about using digital microscopes to cross the digital divide! Our kindergarten students have a whole new appreciation for nature as a result.

@MrNunesteach The school day / class schedule. When combining stem with #designthinking, which requires empathy, building connections and gaining user feedback, fixed class schedules are a barrier.
